Was McCain trying to point out the Democrats are the ones to blame for these bad 8 years too? He said Democrats have majority in Senate and House.

I never knew this. I remember from political science class that the president and congress share equal powers. Congress cannot pass any law unless signed by the president. But Congress can overide the president's veto with 2/3 vote. Then there is no way Bush could be the only blame for screwing up the government if Democrats have majority in Congress. Can someone explain in better detail? Thanks.

McCain said Obama has millions of undocumented donations. Why is this? Who could be donating these money?

Oh okay, thanks. Well then, for 2 years Democrats share the blame. If they are too weak to stand up to Bush, then how can they be strong enough to stand up to foreign threats like Iran and North Korea? I mean Bush should be easier to deal with than foreign powers.

It's like how can you deal with the outside world if you can't even stand up to your family members?

I'm not trying to convince anyone to vote Republican. I'm just curious why Democrats are weak like this. And these will be the same Democrats in Congress if Obama is elected? Whoa.

    Assuming sincere questions...

On the donations front, you are only required to give names for donors over a certain level ($200?) I can't remember the exact level.

Obama's campaign has had millions of small donations -- it's unprecedented. People like me and my wife, who have NEVER given to a political campaign, have gone online to donate. And most of these types of gifts are not documents; nor are they required to be documented.

Okay, thanks. McCain must have lied then because he said his camp documents every single penny.

What specifically are you referring to that the Democrats should have stood up to Bush on? The Democrats had a majority in the House for 2 years. They have a bare majority (51-49) in the Senate for those 2 years.

Without override powers, it is impossible for the House to pass anything without the consent of the President. It has nothing do with "standing up" to anybody. In a split government, if either party disagrees, the legislation is probably dead. Similarly, the Republicans were just as "weak" by not being able to do anything the last two years either. Except the problem is that the status quo was what the GOP created from 2000-2006.

You really should educate yourself on Govt 101. What on earth does how Congress works have to do with standing up to North Korea?

    This is a gross generalization.

I don't understand posts like this. Do you work for the party? Do you really think people are gonna see this and then switch parties?

Most of his money does NOT come from the 'small donations'. It comes from traditional sources and then the fraudulent sources from abroad. Khadafi from Libya was boasting about how radical Islamic groups have funneled money to Obama. It was in a youtube that I posted yesterday, in case you'd like to review it.

...just another fraud perpetrated by team Obama...
