    Charles in Phoenix

1994 Playoffs Game 3 vs Golden State
56 pts, 14 boards (27pts in the first quarter)
Charles always noted this game whenever they showed Webber dunking on him on that Nike Commercial

This is the Charles Barkley who was determined to get back to the Finals and that we beat in 7. this is why we traded for him.

oh they won this game too, not a video clip of someone scoring a bunch of points in a losing game or losing series.

It's really a shame that Tracy Vajayjay doesn't think he can learn anything about basketball from Sir Charles.

Remember Barkley's 30 point 23 rebound performance at age 35?

Barkley and Webber ended up having several "grudge matches" that stemmed from this. CB liked showing younger PFs whats-what, and Webber took exception. Barkley in turn got tee'd off by the dunk.

It was fun watching them during the 90s when they played one another.

Someone a few days ago posted something about T-Mac in Orlando in this forum and he's proving his point.

There is another game out there... 98 Rockets maybe? Clyde and Hakeem are out. Against the Bulls. Barkley is relentless in the loss. He is old, tired, out of shape, etc... But he leaves it all out there. Love him.

What's next!? Shane Battier in Memphis, Ron Artest in Chicago, or Brent Barry in LA.

What's funny is guys like Barkley, Malone, Stockton, Ewing, etc. used to get mercilessly ragged on for not having a ring. Vajayjay can't even get out of the first round and we're "haters" who are being too hard on him.

Barkley was great at imposing his will on games.

So is this just going to be a thread about a EX-rocket player when he was playing for another team and his terrific performance. Or is this a thread that was aimed to get back at the dude who gave a heads up notice in McGrady's 62 point Orlando game?

Meh, so much picking internet fights.

Good and I'm happy for them. What's your point?
