I may have to wuss out of tonight's game, my son has a Tee ball playoff game.......at about the same time. DVR...again...ugh. DD
Closing note about the venue we chose for last night's game - Legends.... Let's just say that it's changed since the last time we were there. Not an overall enjoyable experience. The screens were good (they had volume for our game and we were still able to see what was going on in the other games), but the bar was dead, the food was mediocre at best, and everything was WAY overpriced for a hotel sports bar. Part of our bad feelings might have been because the game wasn't as good as it should have been, but I think Legends has moved way down the list on places we'll watch the next Rockets game. Third base is good, but is way down south. Where else can we go on NW side of town? Rhino's and Jocks? Little Woodrow's? Just thought I'd give some feedback for next viewing party. Those of you that are going out to watch the game tonight, enjoy a ROCKETS WIN (and a much better looking offensive effort). I have kid duty (that sounds funny) and will be watching at home. Later.
dude its not way down south, its on 6th and mopac, that's central! I'll let DD decide, he's the one who knows all these places.
Don't "dude" me!!! OK, it's central. But I live in NW Austin, so for me it's "Way down south." And we all know (or at least we should) that the world is all relative to where I am!!
Can't do it tonight - have to watch the kids while the wife is out. There's a good chance I can make it the next big (non-regular-tv-televised) game. Enjoy the game tonight. -Humer
