Tightening or closely contested, give me a break (I apologize for using the wrong vernacular there).....I also said you can contest that as reality and I would agree with you on a lot of the states. But to be fair, that is not really O'reilly's map, if you watched his show last night he used the Real Clear Politics Map and editor, which had Obama at 306 electoral votes...........as his source and has used that many times. That is why next to the map you are citing he shows links from RCP and Politico, which when you click change the map accordingly. Bill has also stated many times lately, that McCain has less than a 20% chance of pulling this out....doesn't sound like a guy who is in the tank as you want to believe for McCain and is viewing the election from foggy goggles.
Um, false? http://www.billoreilly.com/g/General-Election-Map/545.html His website shows the Real Clear Politics map.
Nevermind, I found it. That map is shown on his foxnews website. His personal website shows the real clear politics map.
Regardless of who's map it is, if it's current it's hilarious. Oregon +14 for Obama New Mexico +8 Minnesota +10 Iowa +12 Wisconsin +10 Michigan +11 Pennsylvania +9 New Hampshire +7 are all tossups. But North Carolina and Indiana which are dead even are solid red? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Don't post that................Sam won't like it and most likely spin that somehow..........I'll wait in anticipation................

All I did was go to his FNC website - that's the map that comes up, Johnny Mac is in teh lead, OH NOES LIBPIGS!
Sam, I am just giving you a hard time, I know you are a Fox News hater............. Bottom line, I like listening to them all (radio/tv) as someone who is definitely more of a moderate (smack in the middle), as it keeps me more in tuned, but I know when I watch what side they are usually rooting for and try to keep it in perspective.
In fairness, it's not just Fox. Yesterday CNN was flipping over backwards trying to paint scenarios where it could still be close, because all the major news networks stand to lose a lot of money if this thing is decided quickly. They want it to drag late into the night. The CNN part was where they had the guy with the country touch-panel screen. It reminded me so much of the SNL skit that demonstrated the whole non-sensical nature of the entire premise. Their logic was: "If McCain wins... Pennsylvania (in which he was far behind and where people were wondering why he was still campaigning there) Those four close states of Ohio Florida Missouri and North Carolina (yes ALL FOUR of them) And what the hey let's just switch Virginia from blue to red for no reason at all, and then give him Colorado New Hampshire and Nevada. It could be 269 apiece! Please let this happen? I don't want to lose my job!" Sounds to me like John McCain's magic number is 6, and he's only got 7 games left to play.
u can see from his past few shows that he doesn't want obama to win. either he's jocking sarah palin or like right now, he said, "finally the people are getting fearful of obama." i was like
I haven't watched much Billy O lately but the few times I have watched him he did say some positive things about Obama. I remember he said he really believed Obama to be a tough guy one night and the other night he said that Obama is being true to himself while McCain is trying to be someone he is not. He seems poised to become much more moderate as the winds of change blow through. You have to admit that he isn't near as right wing as he was 5 years ago. He is still a loud douchebag of course.
I listen to Bill everyday on the radio. Not only has he dedicated most of his airtime to talking about Obama and pointing out his entire life, but beyond the initial shock of getting owned by Obama in the interview, he seems to be upset at the fact that he doesn't want to dish out any money. Bill is only thinking about the folks until it concerns his pocketbook. He talks about how he doesnt want to ge under Obama's tax plan because of donations and crap that he gives but thats all tax writeoff money, so its sort of insincere. He says he doesnt care who wins but he hasnt given McCain nearly as much attention on the negative side, and when John Kerry didnt bother to interview with him in 2000 he let him have it, but not for Johnny boy McCain because he wants those tax cuts.
