Way to Rox! Some nice balanced scoring between the big three. Hopefully we'll be seeing a whole lot more nights like tonight. :D

Disgustingly bad game but we churned one out. Challenge ahead with the rival Mavs, hopefully we can have a better offensive game there.

Luther Head as point...ughh...and to think haters here want Francis to rot and have Head try to take bench minutes.

Hate to say it but I think the single biggest reason for the offense going to crap this game was Marc Gasol's fronting of Yao.

The rockets just couldn't get him the ball even when they tried...at least not like they usually do. Yao in the post is really the initiator of the rest of the offense and I think that is why the offense looked so crappy.

Most other teams don't have someone 7 ft. tall who is going to defend Yao like that so I'm not too worried.

This is what I get for judging the game by the box score...

If a 20 wins/season team is not terrible then I don't know what is. Or maybe our performance tonight made them look really good?

The Rockets' offense is pretty much a playground offense right now, confusion all over the place, usually leads to just letting one person iso every time down the floor while everyone else is standing around. It was either T-Mac, Artest, or Yao doing the isolation for us tonight.

We need to get more flow and actually run some plays.

Rafer to the rescue.Gotta give McGrady props for playing well in the last few minutes. It was close,we barely got pass against an inexperienced team.
We need to do a lot better against the Mavs. The injuries are hurting us.

Bad, bad win. Just pathetic offense, sometimes we just looked hopeless. Our fg % was terrible, our shot selections was terrible but what was the worst - ball movement and creating positions. 80 points against Memphis team is just a joke.

It was like the last game of the season. We looked bored, tired, etc. But win is a win but is shouldn't make us feel better, those were only Grizzlies. As I know Adelman is an offensive coach. And if that is his system than I want JVG back :)

We were not agressive at all, but yeah we won. It looked like players were searching for their rythm. McGrady's gonna pick is up, so is Yao and Rafer. Shaky start doesn't mean anything but we gotta be better, a lot better because the 1st month is tough.

But for me the best thing was just to see this Rockets team together again. It was great to see healthly Yao, McGrady, Rafer + Ron on the court at the same time. Hopefully the starting lineup will look like that one the entire season.

But not go home and sleep and hell, work hard tomorrow on your shooting, especially T-Mac on his jumpers, because sometimes they were close. Just gotta make sure they go in. What I wanna see next game is players attacking the basket hard. We were passive the whole game.

    Go Rockets!

more Tracy in the low post

that's the only good thing we can take away from this game...

I also loved t-mac in the low post.

we had trouble getting Yao any clean post-ups--that's a lack of ball movement/cohesion. Time will take care of that.

Luther Head can't play PG. Nothing has changed on that front.

Rafer is a smart player but he can't shoot. Nothing has changed on that front.

Rafer almost never penetrated the entire game. Nothing has changed on that front. His only FTs came at the end of the game off a meaningless foul.

He was moving gingerly at the end but he did assert himself at the finish. He will definitely have to be better than he was tonight and so will the rest of them.

looks rusty tonite, might just be a kinda off after an exciting summer.....

however, did remind the Rockets that the way to win every game is to FIGHT ALL THE WAY!
