By that, I mean if you're an Obama-Biden supporter, which McCain-Palin supporters do you think makes pretty good, well-reasoned posts (despite, perhaps, philosophical differences)? And vice versa, for the McCain-Palin supporters.

I'm relatively new to this CF forum, so I'll dodge my own question for now until I gain some more familiarity. I'd like to hear from others though.

Bad timing. Right now the republicans are unbearable because they can't handle the fact that a democrat/liberal/socialist/communist win is oh so close. Even the normally sane ones are losing it.

Well, I'd prefer to talk about people with different outlooks from my own.

Of specifically McCain voters, I'd have to say I learn a lot from Refman and weslinder. IROC_it has also been in some useful discussions for me, I'd say.

For a more faith-based outlook on life, I've learned a great deal from rhester and MadMax. In fact, I can really say my outlook on life has been changed by reading their posts.

There are lots of other people to mention. :)

Basso transcends all parties, philosophies and ideologies into the highest peek of epic failure threads that have even the conservatives like me wanting to distance themselves from such nonsense. He keeps posting irrational arguments that cannot be won based on facts, rationality and good judgment.

THis is not a popularity contest, I'm here to talk about the issues!

I like weslinder. I truly believe we can rescue him from the darkside.

weslinder, is the main one, but he isn't really a republican, no? nero? I think that's his name, and he's probably not really a republican. I think they vote republican because the parties that really represent their views won't ever win a major election. rhester, but he hasn't lost it. Can't think of anyone else, so I guess I don't like any of the real McCain supporters.

I think so, and so is rhester.

Einstein's definition of insanity applies to all, or almost all, of the posters who regularly post here and support McCain.

FD Khan, Mr Wes Linder, Refman post reasoned stuff. I often disagree -- but I respect their takes.

I think Bobreck, Lynus, Fatty, Moes and maybe Clutch lean McCain -- though they may have come to their senses ;).

Giddy, Iroc and ...yes..Basso can be good when they're not PMSing. Jorge's always a good read.

    I'm sure I missed some.

I, too like to talk to people with different outlooks from B-Bobs :p

Wow. I just don't know what to say. I never really thought that there was a lot to learn in my ramblings.

Thanks. The sentiment is very reciprocal.

Thanks. I respect your willingness to listen to opposing views.
