    seriously, that trey was at least 2-3 feet behind the line ... I think he likes to take a few of those just to feel good

    Best stat of the 1st qtr...alston only 1 shot attempt.. Alston is effective when he's not shooting bricks. I love it! :cool:

    It's working. also not having a bad knee like he had last season helps his shooting action.

    i like i like
    we went out there
    played our game
    dint waste too much energy in getting the 26 pts which is a good thing
    nice quarter...
    lets pull away and put this game away by the 3rd quarter
    and let our starters rest
    we have a big game tomorrow

    i agree, more of catch and shoot plays, you know. he made that 1st 3, it wasn't open and it went in. it is T-Mac, we should have known him, we should have knons he was gonna pull up for another one, which I HATE.

    Use him on the post and set screens for him (off the ball). I don't like when he is handling it.

    My initial first quarter reaction ...

    The team is deep and using the depth. Every possession but a few the ball was moved around and not just held by T-Mac. Anyone was a threat at any time which is a change from recent years. One player might score 10 in one quarter and not shoot the rest of the game with this team. No individual will have dominant MVP numbers due to all the depth but as a team they will be dominant. That's how championship teams play.

    i don't think the jumpers are good opportunities, just they have good jump shooter makers..

    lol, landry has taken about 18 shots so far and hit nothing. but he's definitely being active and athletic, which i like to see.
