    Great post. He basically compromised all of his morals and sold his soul to the GOP spin machine. Once known as a "straight-talking moderate," McCain turned to saying anything to get elected. Sad.

    This is the guy who reinvented himself after the Keating Five scandal. McCain can boost back his image should he put effort into it.

    You'd be surprised how the media will warm back up to you if you deliver them a dramatic comeback story. He can deliver an upfront apology for his actions like he always does and then book end his career by being the bridge for legislation on immigration reform and/or carbon emission regulation.
