Voted yesterday at the Asian market. It took me 2 minutes. I love the Asian market. Where else can I get fish sauce and vote at the same time.
I'm going to vote today. My sister-in-law is in line at another part of Houston where the line is ridiculously long. Hopefully by 2-3 pm the big crowds will be gone. If not, I'll go in at 7 am on Monday.
I voted at HCC SE campus at 9am saturday morning. I figure that all the party people would still be asleep saturday morning. There were only 2 people in line, but there were 15-20 voter stations. It was fast.
Voted yesterday at the Bear Creek Community Center, took about an hour from 11 to 12. +1 for real change this January. They were actually serving free barbecue which I thought was a little weird.
I voted earlier today. I got there right before 7 to avoid a long line and thats exactly what I encountered. To make matters worse, when I was leaving the line was much shorter than when I came!
Looks like I couldn't wait until Monday. The voting place was right up the street from the rally I attended today and it was open until 4 PM so I went ahead and voted, especially since the lines were short, in all it took about 10 minutes total. I voted.
I voted...for Pat Lykos, Ed Emmett, and Barack Obama I wanted to throw some Republican names out there cause I didn't vote straight Dem.
I voted for Theresa Chang, Pat Lykos and Barack Obama. LOL. I didn't vote for Emmett, that may have been a mistake. I wanted to get rid of the incumbent.
I voted last Thursday at 2 pm on W Gray M-P Center. There was one heckler with a sign about Obama's birth certificate. Some guy in a car yelled to her to worry about important issues and then she started ranting about how liberals only hate Bush and are a bunch of dumb m-fers. Anyway, took about 40 minutes total. First time I have early voted.
I usually like to wait til the day of to soak it all in, but there is some stupid basketball game that night. So, I will vote on Thursday. Does anyone know where I can find out what the heck is on my ballot? I need to do some more research. I will vote at Jersey Village City Hall or W Gray MultiService Center. Have you guys played basketball there before? I used to play there.
i voted all democrat, but there were some races where it was republican vs. libertarian, in which i voted libertarian...
Voted Friday at Bayland Park Community Center, Bissonnet @ Hillcroft, in Houston. Got there at 11:45 PM. Line was out the door and around the building, but it moved fast because they had 30 voting machines inside. Took a total of 45 minutes.
