He didn't say a word about a blowout. He said they beat ucla on their home court.

Texas always recruits OOS. I don't get the state loyalty stuff. Get the best players.

I don't think Wangmene is going to play this year.

The best part of our football team is that unlike any other top tier school, UT is almost pure Texan...i dont see why it only goes for one sport.

As a state we havent produced any great basketball players. I was hopin that would change.

I know we're loaded with bigs, but where is this coming from? He often looked lost last year, but towards the end of the season, he was giving us productive minutes.

I'm guessing Barnes really likes Matt Hill and has him over Wangmene in the depth chart.

Wangmene's mother past away recently back in his home country. He went home to be with his family and Barnes told him to take his time in coming back.

Umm...Daniel Gibson, LaMarcus Aldridge, TJ Ford, Rashard Lewis, Darrel Arthur,Stephen Jackson, Hakeem, Clyde... just to name few...

Dont know if you meant highscool or college but i think you meant highschool and if so then you can add Shaq, Deron Williams, Emeka Okafor, and Chris Bosh to the list..

And im sure there are plenty that I have overlooked.

UT has been a powerhouse in NCAA football for a long, long time. The same can't be said for our bball program however, that's why I think so highly of barnes.

All the good bball players were flying to Duke, NC, UConn, because they were the best programs in the country. I think Barnes is well on his way (if he's not already there) in having UT as one of the elite programs.

I'd put us in that second tier, top 15 program. Not one of the bluebloods.

sounds like we got another 5 star shooting guard for 2010. This one is good enough to play for ucla and usc, as he was offered by both.

Scary thing is that our 2010 class could be better than this upcoming class.

texas is producing a lot of great hoopers nowadays.. houston alone is one of the hotbeds for basketball recruits around the country.. hopefully some of them decide to stay in state :D
