He was playing well then this happened...Looks serious. MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Chicago Bulls guard Larry Hughes left Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a dislocated right shoulder. Hughes left the game with 3:16 to play in the third quarter and did not return after getting his arm caught under Minnesota forward Mike Miller as the two dove for a loose ball. Hughes was leading Chicago with 21 points when he left. Hughes, averaging 13 points per game in the preseason, is fighting for playing time in a crowded backcourt featuring Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon and No. 1 draft pick Derrick Rose. http://www.nba.com/2008/news/10/22/hughes.injury.ap/index.html
lol yes because larry hughes has always been the answer to any teams inability to make or succeed in the playoffs. He's always been injury prone and never lived up to potential.
I watched the game. They showed an overhead shot of his shoulder as he was being taken to the locker room. You could almost see the injury. His shoulder looked funky.
Addition by subtraction. You never wish injury upon an athlete but his absence will certainly not hurt the Bulls.
