It's against the law to not have a front license plate, so get one or get a ticket. End of story.

One time I was driving my grandparents car when I was younger and I got pulled over for no front license plate, but he just gave me a warning. :)

When it is so easy to get it dismissed, perhaps not.

I took my plate off about half a year ago, I've been pulled over for speeding, but the cop never noticed the plate I guess. I have been thinking of putting it back just in case.

Is it okay to have the plate on your dashboard?

if you want to leave it off, you'll have to put it inside up on the passenger's side against the windshield

That works. I've always notice a lot of people put them there.

For me it would get annoying since I could see the reflection of the plate on the windshield, but yeah it's a good option.

Wow. A UH logo? Didn't these guys already warned you that they don't leave the front logo because it's ugly? :p

Follow the law. It's simpler than posting on a BBS. Also, ElPigto, if someone ever steals your car, don't complain if the police don't have an additional way of cathing the crooks because they can't identify it without a plate on the front.

I will assume that the people who complain about 'dumb' laws are the same people who don't vote... why do they even complain... ?

I kept it in storage too, and just said there were no holes so I wasnt sure what to do with it since I bought the car like that

After a couple times of using that excuse and getting away with it, I just have suction cups and have it on top of the windshield on the passenger side. I like it better there.
