Garnett is ranked too high as always for freaking guy who can't guard players from his own position. He sucked at guarding Duncan, Amare, Yao, Shaq. The only reason he is considered good is because most of stats like blocks come against undersized SFs. Put him in a must win game against any of the elite players and he is terrible. Ben Wallace, Marcus Camby are better defenders than him.

    Interesting...

Shane Battier and Ron Artest were mentioned in the top 5 DPOY candidates and the current front runner, Dwight Howard, was nowhere to be found.

Derrick Rose wasn't even in the top 5 for ROY.

He knows that. He bumped this thread so we could discuss how close in their predictions ESPN was.

As for Yao not being in the top10, it is understandable - we were supposed to have three very good players. Who would you give the most credit to? On the other hand, Philadelphia was expected to jump up to be a top3, top4 team in the East. It would be like Nash to Phoenix - all the credit would go to Brand.

I don't know what Morey has to do to get noticed in the GM race. Ed Stefanski? Who? Morey would never give out such a huge contract to a player that has just missed almost an entire season.

Looks like their picks for ROY were totally off. That probably happens every year.

As for Brand, his signing was suppose to upgrade the sixers big time but that hasn't happened....he got injured and i believe they are playing better without him

Where's the love for Von Wafer as most improved player? He should at least get a mention..
