When I posted the Ron Artest "No Layups" wallpaper I got a request for one with more players (starters) on it. I hadn't planned on making one, but I got a wild hair tonight and ended up doing it. Takes way too long. *I hate to make a new thread just for this, but I don't want to encroach on anyone by posting in their wallpaper thread. If I could still edit the first post of my Artest thread, I would have used that one...mods feel free to merge if necessary.
Sorry to be a critic. I have no photoshop skills but the lettering of "No Layups" is too bubbly, cartoony. I think it should be block lettering or something sharper... mean-looking text. Otherwise, nice work.
Totally awesome! Yao looks badass! But I am keeping the older version (also from the OP) because it has the Rockets' season schedule (how vital is that information!).
No worries at all. I didn't put a whole lot of thought into the text on the original wallpaper, and when I posted that one nobody seemed to have issues with it, so I never thought to change it. I'm of the opinion that my work can always be better, so I appreciate the critique. Especially since I make this stuff for everyone else, rather than myself. It helps to hear opinions.
Not trying to be demanding or suggesting anything at all, but didn't you say you were working on a video too CCR? If so, when can we expect that?
Not 100% sure what I've said in terms of making a video. I'm busier these days than I used to be, so I may just do one video at the end of the season, right before playoffs (and another to celebrate whatever playoff run we have). I'd love to guarantee something, but right now I just can't say for sure if or when it'll happen. Glad that you're eager for something though
I agree with BrooksBall that the lettering should be less cartoony. I think it's great, though, just that little detail that could make it better.
