I just wanted to remind you the Ducks suck. They will be lucky to keep it within 20.

The Ducks just have tons of hole's in their line up. A good well balanced, strong and athletic team should tear them up. Kansas is the first team like they will have faced this year.

They were fortunate many times this year, not this time.

This thread smacks of jealousy, Scarvy. The fact is the Big 12 is a great conference (unlike the PAC 10), and Kansas is a great team. Oregon was a very good team that ran into a great one. The two best teams in the Pac 10 got the crap beat out of them by the two best in the Big 12.

If Oregon is pretenders, then I guess 59 other tourney teams are.

    What a pathetic thread.

Sorry guys, didn't mean to touch a sore spot. I just watched the Pac 10 a lot this year--and they along with Arizona & USC were simply good teams with obvious weaknesses--I had been saying all along the round of 8 or 16 was as far as any Pac 10 team would go. I knew the Ducks were pretenders as far as being elite teams (national title contenders--which some people talked like they were and their seeding implied). Oregon had never been on the the court with big and athletic team like Kansas, Maryland, UConn (who may be the 3rd best team), Oklahoma, Duke, Illinios or Cincy--and it showed.

I called the Duck-UT winner getting killed by Kansas if Kansas got by the tougher Illinios, and I was right on. But they weren't the only "good" team to be killed by Kansas.

You weren't exactly going out on a limb with that call.

Considering the Ducks were only like 3 point underdogs (less than UConn against Maryland--go figure that one), saying Oregon will lose by close to 20 and that they were less difficult to beat as a 2 seed than the 4 seed was not exactly obvious or conventional thinking.

I do agree it wasn't going out on a limb, but I did on Duke and they lost (I did get the wrong team beating them though as USC folded early). You get some, you lose some, oh well, it is all supposed to be fun.

Being the avid Oregon fan (somewhat) even I knew the Ducks didn't match up too well with KU. Mainly because the Ducks big men are very slow. The PF/Cs they bring off the bench look like fat stoners.

Sorry Scar, I thought you were mad at Oregon for beating out Arizona for the Pac 10 title, and that you had it in for them. Don't mind me. ;)

No, I wasn't mad at Oregon. Besides, The Cat's won the real Pac 10 title--rather than the January title, a couple of weeks ago:D
