Were you one of the ones defending the harassment at the McCain-Palin parade in Manhattan? On the one hand: shots fired, one the other hand: harassment. Do they really deserve equal response?
Hell no- I despise any form of intolerance, whether from the left, right, or middle. I am definitely a conservative and liberal mix, and I see much more of the appeal to emotion from the McCain camp than from the Obama camp, and if history shows us anything, this can lead to nothing but trouble.

Glad nobody was hurt, hopefully somebody saw it happen and will report it but it's not likely since nobody from the McCain campaign or any of the police in the area know anything about it. Also, the "writer" of the report who is also a spokesman for an anti-Obama PAC didn't actually see the bus, just relaying hearsay. Is this guy still employed as a journalist?

An anti-McCain or a pro-McCain person could have done this. The former? A dumba$$. The latter? Get people to believe all Obama supporters are scumbags who'd sink so low. Politics.

4 years ago the incumbent President of Taiwan was behind in the polls in the last days of Presidential election, someone shot him with some really crude home made handgun and he suffered some minor grazing wound. That rallied his base and won the election for him. Many suspect that was a setup. Conveniently the police later found the shooter dead.
Well, at least whoever fabricated this story threw in the colorful paintball part. That made for some nice imagery.
If someone really did fabricate this story, that's dangerously irresponsible. Who knows, some wacko right-wingers may have read it and decided to reciprocate against an Obama-Biden campaign bus.
