what's the deal with it being a great honor for Hornecek to get, but Calvin's making a big deal out of a meaningless record. It's either a good record or it's not. Rome is another one of the many that think the Rocket's don't count. If it weren't for Houston's 2 titles , I would have gone on a homicidal rampage by now. ------------------

Calvin has expressed his dislike for Jim Rome earlier in the season. When Bill was advertising "The Last Word" Calvin talked about going on his show once and he "accused" Calvin of practicing voodoo. Calvin must have blasted him for that, and little Jimmy got his feelings hurt again, and just like he does with all people that hurt his feelings,he disses that person whenever he gets the chance. I don't know when Calvin was on exactly, but i wish i hadn't missed it. About the ft% thing- I want to point out that in order for Hornycek to pass Calvin he will have to hit 41 out of 42 free throws. He only averages about 2.5 attempts per game. That would be so cool to see. Calvin would give him such a beating. Calvin got into quite a few fights in his time. He felt he had to defend himself quickly, or else he would be taken advantage of because of his size. I saw him pummel power forwards Jay Schlueter and Sidney Wicks among others. I heard Bill Russell comment once that most basketball players can't fight, but Calvin Murphy can fight. ------------------
