Not only is it free, I just donated $50 to Obama and have another $20 going to the opponent congresswoman from Minn. after watching her views, which is a direct reflection of the hatred spewed by the right for years now.

Of course bigtexxx never batted an eye when a certain white religious leader said 9/11 was God's judgement on America.

If wanting what's best for this country is anti-American, then call me anti-American.

    Dammit McCain...

I was coming around a little bit on the guy after watching him at the roast where he was funny, and likeable. And then I see this and it completely changes my perception of the guy. Him and his GOP whack-jobs are doing a great job at dividing this country. Real Virginia?? Funny when the commentator told her that she could come back off the ledge. It's amazing to think that in some wierd way, the McCain-Palin circus is promoting racism and almost directly saying that Barack Obama somehow endorses terrorism.

... so what's the big deal about Palin's remark? It was but one akward phrase in a short speech.

According to Wikipedia, some of his confederates died in the process of bomb-making (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Ayers) and then there is this... http://sweetness-light.com/archive/ayers-the-day-i-bombed-the-pentagon

A week or two ago someone posted an article written by a now-adult whose father was injured/almost killed in one of those blasts.

If he didn't kill someone it's not for lack of effort. Their intended/targets: White House, Capitol, Pentagon, Police stations and public monuments.

Someone innocent easily could have been killed.

    Actually, you are incorrect.

They provided evacuation warnings prior to attacks.

While you are correct that innocents could have been killed, that was not the intent. Their attacks were political statements.

I have no doubt they were stupid kids but placards make political statements too. The violence they chose was dangerous and they knew of the potential for mishap-- even flying debris or whatever. Hell, as soon as they evacuate a place like the Capitol they send in people to investigate; they don't just abandon it forevermore. One of those guys could have been killed just doing his job.

While I think the attacks on the Ayers-Obama connection are extremely weak I have to call BS on this one. If you set off bombs, if you start fires, if you create violence, that is not a political statement. That is attempted murder. Intent doesn't matter when explosions/fire are in the mix.

I can't stand these right wing robots that sit there and feed us this nonsensical babble all the while sporting that same sh** eating grin.

"Real America" has so much hate for Obama right now, and it will only grow as the election grows closer and it really sinks in that he's going to be our President. I'm starting to become extremely worried about assassination attempts. :(

Playing divide and conquer to gets voted based on patriotism is a scumbag tactic.

Maybe if Obama wins, McCain will take his "real america" supporters and break away from us fake Americans.

Maybe they can move to Alaska and join the secessionist party.

This was said in a local fundraising event, I believe it may have even been right where I live. No, I was not there.

The remarks were not made at some campaign rally; it was uttered at an intimate gathering of close supporters. I'm sure Obama and Biden talk with similar "excess" in those kind of gatherings.

What were those off-putting remarks that Obama made about right-wing, gun-loving wackos. That was a public address I think.

The most scumbag thing about it is that the Dems, apparently, snuck someone in there with a tape recorder to see if there was something to use.

Obama owns the remarks he made, and so does Palin. Nothing wrong with holding either one of them responsible for what they said. Just because you are in an "intimate event" doesn't mean what you say doesn't count. Nothing "scumbag" about discussing these remarks at all.

And even if you strike Palin's remarks from the record due to some "fundraiser privilege," you still got Pfotenhause and Bachman... Are cable news channels now also intimate settings of close supporters?

Sad thing about what you believe is if you go against Amreica you are anti-American sounds like good ole American naiveness. The greatest thing about this country is the right to go against the government. To say your government is doing wrong things and has wronged people in the past. So what I say to you is that you are anti-American for your comments.

That's ridiculous. This is a presidential election, any comments by either candidate are fair game.
