This makes me wish Obama was a terrorist so there'd be a chance he would bomb the place where these people live. I mean, vote against someone because you don't like their policies or their qualifications. But if you're showing up at a rally with a "Curious Obama" monkey doll, it's obvious that you're not voting for the right reasons.
So a vote for Obama is a vote for?: Haha but seriously, there are morons on both sides, this is nothing new.
The majority of Americans don't exercise such hate in their lives, and that's why they will make these people very unhappy come November. My only wish is that these people really could elect McCain to be their president exclusively, not ours. Then, they would get exactly what they want and deserve--poor governance, their own children smarter than their vice-president, and a continued gaping fissure in their pocketbooks in the form of the Iraq war.
The difference is that Rosie is obnoxious, disgusting and unfunny. The people at some of these rallies are racist, and offensive which is far worse.
Agreed, but I can find as many r****ded liberal nonsense comments should I search a "youtube". Hell I could find enough on a PETA website. I truly don't feel like it. Realize that because one side has differential views doesn't mean a thing about their beliefs, racism, income, etc. This whole thing is *****. Lib's more than likely will win this election, which is truly sad, because I think most libs will agree that, God forbid, a Republican should get back into the White House, you'd want McCain. But y'all's myopic, and let me repeat and bold for you MYOPIC view of Obama scares the hell out of me. He's new to the field. He's hardly any experience, and he failed on an interview almost as spectacularly as Palin did. He speaks well though. Hmm... Where have I heard this before? That's right! Powell. Progressive for progressives sake is not enough. Luckily, we do have a House and a Senate to watchdog the presidency. Oh, geez. Y'all forgot about that din't ya? Blaming everything on Bush is an easy scapegoat. That said, Obama should win the election. Let's hope he's more LBJ and less Carter/Clinton. Cheers.
there are racists, killers, child molesters, and people from New York City voting for each candidate. It doesn't matter.
There was a guest on Real Time last night that expressed this and i really believe he is right. There is a big problem with saying that Obama pals around with terrorists because it incites fearful and even violent thoughts against a presidential candidate. If Obama wins, taking this stance means that there will be a sizable percentage of Americans that believe that a TERRORIST occupies the White House. It is a zero sum game. These people are so disillusioned that even policies that benefit then will be scorned. Don't you think that is dangerous? If McCain wins, you will have a percentage of Americans that are so unbelievably bitter about the way McCain got elected and the course of the government that any possible progress e wold make would grind to a halt.
I'm all for these nut jobs being as vocal as possible, it kills their party and makes the sane people easier to spot. When history looks back and judges this election, the Republican party is going to have one seriously nasty black eye.
Exactly! It's obvious that anything Obama does in the White House should he win will be looked upon as a failure by so many. That's a discouraging thought. I mean, I was raised thinking Clinton was the worst president in the history of America. It surprised me to see, years later, that the economy was great and his approval rating was so high. If people decide they don't like someone, they will not acknowledge anything positive. It's dangerous for Palin to be riling up so many people, inciting so much fear in the conservative base. She wants to win yes, but I'm having a hard time seeing the rationale for her to go SO far.
difference is racism is widespread and exclusve to republican base all intolerant rednecks are on the right
It is dangerous. I sure hope the Secret Service will be up to it. Extra personnel will most likely be needed. But who's actually stupid enough to try something? Against the President? I guarantee you no one will get a close enough opportunity to do anything. But if I were to guess anybody, it'd probably be one of these nutz.. Scary how you can just see the hate boiling in their veins. Btw... that woman really doesn't like the Oprah show.. Sounds jealous, Oprah's rich, successful.. she's just.... trash And the old man. what an evil laugh
No you could not. The mood of xenophobia, ugliness and hatred at those McCain Palin mob rallies simply isn't present at Obama events.
hate of an idea or people who believe in it is ok but hating people for there skin color and namesake is completely different u can say the left is intolerant of conservative ideas but u cant say the left are intolerant of people cause of race or name. u will never hear a democrat say obama is scary cause hes an arab or cause his name is weird and not typical american. THATS A BIG DIFFERENCE!
