He looked so awful in his short minutes against the Kings. We dont need him with Landry, Scola, Chuck, and Joey. THere is no way he should make the team, i wish we could buy out Francis so that Wafer and DJ could both make the team!!

He was playing SF, and he clearly wasn't comfortable out on the perimeter.

It's too bad ... I don't know if anybody has worked harder to try to make the team. He was working out with the Rockets the entire offseason.

Honestly, it seems as if Wafer is the only one who has the potential to make this team.

At least give Francis a chance.

I've never been a Mike Harris fan in the sense that I thought he would actually contribute anything meaningful. His hustle is great, I wish him the best but Harris just isn't an NBA caliber player. He's a good guy.

come on hes coming off injury... quit wiht the what have you done for me lately attitude.

I dont think he'll stick with the club, but if we get any injuries into the season Mike harris would be a nice pickup.

I like Mike Harris a lot and hope he makes it, but I move Von Wafer ahead of him on the DD depth chart.

It's not like this is shocking......I mean c'mon, his days as a Rocket were numbered the moment we made the trade for Artest.

Artest is our swing 3/4........no need for Harris, especially with Landry, Scola, and Hayes playing in front of him.

Hopefully he'll find his way onto another team, but even if he wasn't injured and was playing better, Houston would still have no absolutely need for him.

I really, really, really, don't see the hype around Wafer. He's shooting like ass against soft preseason defense and people still dub him a shooter for some odd reason. All those threes he drilled at Memphis were so wide open (obviously except for the last one) that he could've tied his shoes and had enough time to shoot. If he hadn't made most of those we'd be crying for his head. He's athletic, sure, but he should be attacking way more and drawing way more fouls than he has to convince me he can get it done against strong defenses.

I say cut all of them and sign Deke. I really like Mike Harris and hope he can stay just because he's a good practice body, but if not, oh well.

Looking at the current roaster and team's need, I don't think Mike Harris is in that picture. We already have a team of forwards.

If they dont sign Wafer then the Rockets are fools. Everyone wants him on da team. I cant stand having the thought of not having him on the team and letting him slip away to another team like Rudy Gay to Memphis or even Gerald Green now being in Dallas! We cant make the same mistake can we?

Wafer is the real deal but do agree on getting Mutombo back and I would rather have him over all three guys period.

exactly what i been saying since the artest trades- which brings along DJ strawberry.

What i did not expect is wafer to play the way his playing so far.

One thing that kills me is that, wafer is loving his 3p shot too much.
He got 50% of his shots at the 3p line today,
9/13 shots from the 3p at memphis

Can someone finds the stats for previous matches?

Harris is going to get cut one way or the other. You have to many big men with guaranteed contracts to keep him. What they really want is Deke and they want to cut enought contracts to get the money to bring him back.

You can probably say bye-bye to Strawberry and Wafer too for that matter. Unless either one of them suddenly has this awakening as a great point guard to back up Rafer, it's not going to happen. Too many vets with money toward the tax.

Kelenna Azubuike, does that name ring a bell? I remember we had a chance to keep him for very little but we let him go and then later that season he was tearing it up for golden state.
I know the rockets remember that so I dont see them making that same mistake with Von Wafer.
If Tmac remains gimpie through out the year we need a tall sg that can create for them self.
I know every one on this board knows that Luther head is not that person. Even Luther head him self knows that he is not that person.
