One thing Morey has done is make this team ten times more athletic than when CD and JVG were here. We had no young guys like Wafer, Strawberry, Brooks on the team. The guy is a great GM.
Wafer's been a bit unlucky with some shots around the rim that didn't fall. He is clearly better than Head at finishing around the rim because he can finish OVER defenders.

Wafer got such quick first step he can drive to the basket with ease. He just need to slow it down 1 notch and he'll finish all them drives.
I wanna see if Brooks has a mid-range game. That would be lethal if he can use picks and hit those shots. He air-balled one and that bricked another off the back of the rim on the last 2 plays.

Brooksball, you made a great point. what AB need is one summer session with Calvin Murphy "One of the greatest of all tiiiimmeeeee". Lil C can teach him that mid-range. Once AB get that down he'll be the perfect weapons.
wafer culd be a good 12th man of the bench and rest mcgrady more give them at least two game of and playing time to batier and barry in. we have really a good deep team
If he starting improving " his in between game" lights out. right now its either 3 pt shots or he'll attack the rim. if he gets his mid range game going noone can stop him.
Brooks had a decent game but not great. He was better last game. He reverted to getting caught in the air a couple of times. He had 4 TOs but he played starter minutes and a couple of those TOs were on plays where Yao couldn't hold off his man. He needs to develop his mid-range game. He will take his offense to the next level if he can do that.
