McCain clearly. Unless it is staged by a an old crippled white man, the latent distrust will creep its ugly head.

I voted McCain too becasue I think people will feel safer during such an event with him due to his experience.

    Obama.

We're in a crisis now and people like Obama's cool leadership. They've already decided against Repulicans/conservatism. Nobody but the dead-enders wants to go back to where we were.

Plus, an attack would just give Bush an opportunity to be on TV more and that's bad for McCain.

LMFAO. "EGYPT" posts asking about the political impact of a terrorist attack.

I'm sorry, no offense, but did you really want to get the attention of *every* counter-terrorism branch of the FBI, CIA, DOD, and homeland security in one thread? :)

(to the overly sensitive, yes, I am kidding... although the blimp being a reference to mccain's age is 100% serious)

:D If other people are free to say such things then I do not want to opress myself or deny myself the right to say them even if it might get me in trouble.

I unfortunately fear our greatest threat for a terrorist attack these days is from within the ranks of our own homegrown fallout shelter dwellers getting whipped into a frenzy by the fear mongers.
