On one hand, it's hard to believe that fans of the first three films can look at something in the fourth and go "oh now that's just silly and could never happen." But on the other hand, there are 2 major things, both mentioned on SP, that make you say "oh, come on" even for an Indiana Jones movie. But really, I don't think Crystal Skull was THAT much more outrageous than Nazis having their faces melted off or Indy turning into a zombie in "Temple/Doom" or a knight from the first crusade being kept alive for hundreds of years by the power of the holy grail and people drying up and disintegrating into dust, etc.
Tonight's episode was alright. What is going on with South Park and Family Guy? The only scene where I laughed was when Cartman took a **** on Garrison's desk.
Tonight's episode was funny. Don't try to lump in South Park in with Family Guy. South Park has been out longer and has been consistently humorous. You can watch 3-4 episodes of Family guy and not laugh once.
I wasn't really impressed by tonight's episode at all...? Season opener was all right. Tonight was just kind of weird. A Cartman and Wendy episode?
Last night's was a 'back to roots' episode without any wacky fiction. Just Cartman getting his ass kicked. It was a little refreshing to see.
I thought it was going to end with Cartmen just beating the crap out of Wendy and leaving her in a pool of blood. If I was trey and Matt, that's how that would have ended.
I haven't seen last nights but its Tivo'd...I have to admit, last weeks was funny, but in a weird creepy way...Indiana Jones movie did suck, but c'mon...
I thought it might end with Cartman winning too, just because it would be anticlimactic and funny in a weird sort of way. ...but then when they pulled the whole "our opinion of you couldn't possibly be any lower" thing, I understood why they did it the way they did... freakin' hilarious. Butters was freakin' priceless throughout.
Ummm.... what was that? I'm going to guess there was a ton of symbolism involved that blew over my head obviously.
I don't think so. It kind of reminds me of the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy ep where the episode starts off as their gripe against that fad, and then it spins out of control into the Crab People stuff. It's just parody. They're making fun of Peruvian bands at tourist spots and they are doing a parody of Cloverfield.
I never seen any indiana jones movies til the other day I decided to download the first one. It was one of the most boring movies I have ever seen so I didnt bother to see the other 2.
