Durant will put on some muscle. Give him time...

Look at Bynum's transformation from his rookie year.

He is no where close to tmac in terms of ball handling, and that is not a skill you can acquire with practice. Tmac is a natural ball handler who can get his teammates involved.

but you saw bynum's growth in terms of physique his 2ND YEAR, which was last yr. and he got bigger THIS YEAR.

durant looks like the same stick he was last yr.

Some players are wirey strong. Tayshaun Prince, for instance, is a skinny dude, but he's got a pretty good post up game.

We have so much talent on this team...

Our starting lineup for this game was a team without Tmac, Battier and Scola, three of our starters from last year, but damn, even w/o those 3 I think we'd still be a 42-46 wins (winning) team, in the west. :D

Very pleased about the off season.

Yeah, it's just dumb. On the chron website homepage it cites Feigen's blog as "Games Unwatchable?". I'm enjoying watching everyone and the 4th quarter meltdowns right now are completely irrelevant.

lol All of you guys are hating on Strawberry for his dumb play at the end but he played well. You have to remember that he was our Shane Battier for the night gaurding Kevin Durant....Not an easy task. He finishes better than Luther Head which automatically make me a fan.

This is the team in my opinion
    C: Yao/Deke/Dorsey
    PF: Scola/Landry/Hayes
    SF: Artest/Battier/Head
    SG: Tmac/Barry/Strawberry
    PG: Rafer/Brooks/Francis

Explanation: Starters are a given to stay....

Landry, Battier, and Barry will round out the 8 man rotation. Deke is our backup center if Yao goes out. He is old but we need hieght on the team.

Brooks and Francis are all under contract and our suitable backups for Rafer. We also have Barry to take PG duties. Hayes and Dorsey will see some minutes, but both are under contract and do provide intangibles. Head is under contract and I feel that is the only reason he is on the team unless traded.

    Cut List:
Harris: Good guy but I feel his skills are duplicated with other players
Wafer: Good game in preseason, but did not really like him.

i was flippin back and forth between baseball football and the rockets, but i seen three plays by aaron brooks that made me smile,
a very good pass on a breakaway
    a dunk on an alleyoop
    and he banged a 3
i hope this is a trend we can expect

He seemed to be in far more control of the offense this game than the previous three. He needs to press the D and look for his shot. That's his job with the second unit and what he does well do to his speed and shotting ability. If no one stops the ball he needs to find his shot, otherwise set up the play. He did that very well last night.

he probably meant to switch strawberry with head. it's a simple mistake. jeez, i get the feeling that losses in preseason makes some people on this board really irritable. Like one poster said, "I can't wait til we get our first loss in the regular season, some people here will be flinging themselves off their roofs."

He can't drive as well T-Mac did in Orlando, he cant pass as well, his defense is suspect (T-Mac was actually a really good defender in his Toronto-Orlando days) and way more.

Uh, you wanted some dominance by Brooks? You got it. That alley oop was ridiculous, which was only 2 of his 20 points and you have a solid performance. I must say I'm a bit disappointed in him only having 3 assists...but I'm not worried that he's lost sight of his role as a playmaker versus a scorer. He just wanted to remind us of his capabilities.

Anybody watching the Hornets vs Wizards on NBA TV?

Wizards suck but CP3 is unreal.

    56-17 Hornets right now.
