    I was really unmotivated today as well. I work 10 hour days, and bet I didn't do more than 3 hours of actual work today.

    Here's the odd part...about noon, I was on My Yahoo, and this was my horoscope for today:
    This could be one of those days when whatever you do will be fun -- you could have a good time doing anything, if you stay positive! You should feel entitled to having good luck and no pressure, and then that is exactly what you will have. Put off the boring stuff and forget your errands for now. This is time for you to clear your schedule and let the day take you wherever it takes you. There's not a lot of pressure on you now, so make the most of it.

    That just slowed an already slow work day to an absolute crawl!!!

    I was off today (Thank you, Christopher Columbus).

    Mondays are usually pretty uneventful. I find myself working a good 2-3 hours throughout the day.

    usually i work 4 hours in a 8 hour work day, 9-12 work work work, then just relax, work again from 3-4 and prepare to go home :)

    i dont like to stretch my 4 hours of work into 8 hours, i just get it done so i can do nothing :)

    Maybe 4 hours of work today. Sometimes I stay busy all day long, but typically only actually work for 2/3rds of the time I am here.

    well i have a 10 hour day, but i usually show up late so it's closer to 9.25 or 9.5 hours, and then we bill lunch so it's more like 8.5. out of those 8.5, i like to think i put in a solid 1.5-2 hours of work each day on average. like today i went to a 2 hour meeting, talked with my lead for another hour, and did about an hour on my own, but last week i watched the stock market all day, every day, and may have put in 3 hours of work all week (unless someone from my company is reading this, in which case i worked 46 hours like my timesheet said). so it averages out.

    I was distracted by my anger all day for Columbus getting the credit when the Celts clearly beat him here. ARRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!! MAKES ME SOOOOO MAD!!!!!!!!

    All day I've been day dreaming about girls, the Texas/OU game and Texas winning the MNC, and the Rockets of course. And girls.

    If you count meetings as working, I usually end up between 5 and 6and every other Monday when we have a 5 hour meeting, I will hit the full 8.

    On fires, it's 16 hours with a couple of 30 min breaks thrown in. It's easy to really work those kinds of hours if the situation is challenging and you know everyone else around you is working just as hard. I couldn't come close to 16 hours in the regular office gig.
