You want 755 dude. don't let the guide fool you.

As for the beginning post, I totally agree with observation number one (Hayes) and always have. I was actually laughing at all the Clutch BBS posters who want to use him as part of a trade TE.....

Point three (AB), I don't totally agree. I don't feel the rest of the team is remembering to do RA's offense. AB is doing doing what coach wants. Thats to penetrate and move the defense around. Find the open man or attempt to score. He isn't the starter but a backup.

Point seven (Rafer), I don't mind him shooting but he missed all his open 3's ytd. Also I remember a couple 3's where he wasn't so open, still shot but there was good time left on the shot clock.....hmm.....Cmon Alston, I was defending you on this board don't make me regret it!

If ron starts, maybe Chuck hayes should back to the start lineup. let Scola/landry/battier come toghther to destroy others' second unit.

Man...Artest is all over the place on defense harrassing Paul Pierce. No wonder he said Paul and Kobe don't like to play against him. Artest defense is way superior to Battier when you see the game, you see him all over the places getting his hands on the ball....stripping, stealing. This is just a taste of what's to come...and it's only preseason and the fact that they're taking it to Boston and not backing down shows we're not scared of you even though u win Championship.

from what i saw, besides all the specifics and nuances that you guys have also seen ... this year's rockets just are all around tougher. i've posted it before on here but i sensed a little uncertainty in boston in that when they had their best players out there (big 3), they seemed a little bit shocked and frustrated that they couldn't totally destroy us without tmac and battier. maybe that was just me but I definitely felt it from the game. we were holding our own really well ... even our second unit. it's a beautiful thing to see starting to progress.

yao's hopefully going to be much be much smoother, but from what i've seen, i'm a little concerned with how we're working yao into the offense. he's too good to give him the # of post entries i've felt we've given him ... i mean, the ratio seems to be way higher for the high post stuff and all but yao's just too efficient when he's rolling. I uno.

aaron has been pretty up and down. he's improved for sure and made some nice playmaking plays but there's also a lot of trapping himself underneath the basket ... and we'd all hope for a little more consistency from 3. but he prob is at least the same with rafer in 3pt shooting.

landry is freakin impressive. i'm so glad we got him back. dude's gonna make a lot of noise this year.

scola's doing his thing. can't tell difference b/w him this year and last unfortunately.

artest is a beast. love the guy. his offense has impressed me more than his d though. impressed so far with his 3pt shooting ...

didn't get to see tmac play ...

    i miss shane :(

um, luther's kinda like aaron with his highs and lows but more extreme in both areas. i've either been like "holy crap, luther just did that!?" or "sigh luther ... *shakes head*"

i'd like to see dorsey out there ... but he has a lot of the same flaws as chuck without some of the noticeable intangibles that chuck has ... ideally, he can learn somewhat of a post game and learn from chuck where to be on the pick n rolls because dorsey can freakin rock the rim.

if only ... we could wrap up all our power forwards into one ... like seriously ... sigh. they all have their own specific strengths and weaknesses ... haha.

von wafer ... i'm everyone's mentioned a lot about him. pretty darn impressive ... that dunk through the lane ... wow. unfortunately my stream froze right after he caught the ball and i was afraid he was gonna get the ball tossed by kg but then i heard good ol' bill worrell commentate on it :). nice shooting by von too.

barry's done basically what i expected of him. we all kinda hold a barry to extremely high standards ... as in he shouldn't ever miss a 3, especially a lightly contested or open 3 ... but he'll show why we got him here soon enough ... if not at least for the knowledge he's feeding our young guys.

stevie ... please don't give us another disappointment year ... or at least don't leave us wondering if you have anything left haha. we love you but we wanna know if you still got the heart-abandoned type of ball left in you. please shut up the haters. that'd make my day ... hm, i also notice, every rockets fan is so critical with every move stevie does ... including myself ... if he clangs a jumpshot ... somehow i think "aw man, there's one more thing the haters can say about him" or "YES, take that stevie haters!" ...

d.j. ... i'm afraid you're not going to make the roster. his defense was all i heard about him and i thought "hey he could be useful against those really good pgs ..." but he just isn't showing enough to boot off all our other guards in contention for the spot.

mighta missed a few ... guys but still.

"Artest defense is way superior to Battier..."

artest is great...but to say his defense is "way superior" is off. battier has one on one taken kobe, lebron, and other greats out of their games consistently. battier is in the same league as artest even though artest is a beast.

You need to watch the game again without your amazing bias. Paul Pierce was laughing with T-Mac after the walker incident and was hardly "shoving" him. He was restraining McGrady and then T-Mac lunged forward and Pierces' grip accidently slid up to McGrady's neck.

There are a few players I would like to discuss, namely Wafer, Scola, Head, and Brooks.

Von Wafer - Wasn't incredibly efficient in this game, but he has his moments. Even if he does make the roster, I seriously doubt he gets any playing time in this rotation.

Scola - Does anyone else feel as if we don't know what to do with him? I can't seem to get a read on what our intentions are with him. Last year, he really grew when Yao went down, but now, it seems as if he's much less productive when they are both on the court.

It just doesn't seem as if he's getting enough room in the paint to do his maneuvers and work toward the basket for an easy layup.

Head - What else can we say? I defended him as being a decent backup, but then I realized he is still the turnover machine he was last year. Such questionable decisions are hard to oversee.

Brooks - I have been severely disappointed in his performance thus far. His outside shooting has been lacking ever since he entered this league, even though he was said to be a terrific outside shooter. And, as we've all seen, his decision making has been lacking. Half the time, he's caught under the basket with no where to go.

Hopefully Steve can make a nice comeback to solidify our backup PG position.

Did Dorsey play in the previous 2 games? I don't get why he doesn't get any minutes in preseason games if he's considered to have a legit chance to backup Yao?

Pierce was pulling T-Mac away before he did anything he might have regretted. I actually thank Pierce for doing what he did.

What in your wildest dreams makes you think that the Point Guard position will be improved by Francis? Our problem is playmaking and Steve Francis was NEVER a playmaker . As far as I am concerned Rafer isn't either! :p

Exactly. had tracy knocked him out, it meant a lengthy suspension. house aint worth it. for us it meant losing our best player for a lengthy period.

Geeze someones angry today. Why so serious?

Pierce did Shove McGrady before McGrady went after House. Even if Pierce was just "restraining" McGrady, how does the hand slid up to the neck? I saw Clutch's replay, unless if you got another angle of the incident, there was no way you could clearly see what happened. If you do have another angle of the incident, please give me a link so I can rejudge the incident.

With the game on the line, give it to Scola

IMHO, I think Dorsey is probably headed for a stint in the Development League. There aren't any minutes for this raw rookie at this time.
