did romo actually lose the ball going forward though? if you tuck and end up losing the ball backwards, isn't that a backwards pass? or did it go forward and hit the defender first? the refs are doing everything they can to screw the cardinals over. that earlier non-fumble was amazing. his progress was apparently stopped while the ball was lying on the ground?
LOL, Philly just attempted a 54 yard FG with 1 second left in the half. It got blocked and the 49ers run it back for the TD.
54 yard fg is fairly makable. you want to put up points whenever given the chance. there was nothing wrong with that decision.
What a fluke play! The Eagles are down 23-17 at the moment. If they lose to the sorry 49ers, what McNabb gonna say now?
Depends on the kicker's range an accuracy...the field and weather conditions. It's risky area for most teams.
The risk lies usually lies in missing it wide or coming up short, not in being blocked. Even if they had missed it but not had it blocked it nobody would have said anything. I don't think it was the wrong call.
To be fair Brian Westbrook is like 75% of that offense although Buckhalter has done an admirable job filling in.
who has any fingernails left? this isn't a suspenseful game, this is yet another frustrating game in a line of frustrating games this season. romo has lost his jedi escape ability and garrett insists on going with the run. where are the midfield crossing patterns for T.O. and crayton? plain and simple, the cowboys are being out coached... again!
whew... very close. come on OT. this game should have been marked a W for the cardinals 20 minutes ago.
