Funny how it only comes up about a month before the election every four years.

    Acorn will not save Mccain.

Yeah, and this isn't even about the organization. It's about mangling a saying.

I'm sorry, but I honestly don't understand what's going on here. Is it because Obama paused sort of awkwardly?

    Could someone please explain?

Nothing is going on here. The phrase is actually "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Obama said "acorn" instead of apple.

That means he isn't qualified to be president.

I'm pretty sure that I've heard people say "the acorn doesnt fall far from the [oak] tree" before. Something how children are similar to their parents?

Well, it doesn't. Unless you get a good draft and a very tall tree. Still it will be pretty close to the tree.

I didn't see anywhere were anybody is saying that disqualifies him from being president.........

I think the irony the were bringing up was using "acorn" instead of the proper "apple" in the saying..........especially when the Reps are upset with the Acorn organization (all the wrongdoings with them lately) and Obama's past relationship with them....... a freudian slip if you may...........

It was humorous, maybe, but that's about it..................

LOL at the double standard the liberals employ

They loved to drone on endlessly about W's speaking gaffes, but when their liberal messiah does the very same thing, it's "no big deal"

He and Ayers have been planning a rain of terror from Hyde Park's trees for some time.

Call me when an Obama gaffe reaches these levels or when he blatantly lies at these levels...
