Thanks for the reminder. Completely forgot about this one. Win and the US is into the next round. Cuba has already had 2 defections since their arrival. Wonder if they'll end up with enough to field 11?

I wonder what the over/under was on defections for this Cuban trip to US Soil?

Glad to see Freddy and Jozy in the squad and no GAM-Eddie Johnson.

Still angry there's no Kenny Cooper though.

I'd like to see Cooper get a chance also, but overall I'm happy with the line up and can't complain too much. The biggest surprise for me is José Francisco Torres being in the squad, he plays for Pachuca in Mexico and there's been some interest from Mexico. I'm glad he chose to play for us though.

DMB with two goals in the first half, nice finishes. Nice to see him healthy, aside from a clip or two from Cuba and stomped upon foot.

I'm hoping to see more of the kids come in the second half. With the group pretty much sewn up, maybe we'll see more of them on Wednesday.

As an aside, wtf MLS? Figure out how to schedule around a FIFA weekend.

He chose US, because Mexico was not interested in calling him, he was expecting from the Mexico's National Team, but they didnt call him, so he took the US call, and now he is playing for them.

Mexico called him in when they realized the US had called him in. He declined their offer.

Mexico called him, when they realize the US call him, so he would return to Mexico, but he didnt want it, but when the Olympic qualyfing rounds were played, he declined the US offer, because he was expecting to Mexico called him, but they didnt.

I just watched it, our midfield played great, good balls from Donavan and Adu.....

Those two guys are so creative, I have some serious hope...going forward.

What I would like to see against T&T

    Guzan

    Bornstein Califf Wynne Pearce

    Szetela Kljestan Edu Beasley

    Adu

    Altidore

I don't think that is what will happen. I'm sure Masteroni gets the start, as will Hejduk. I wouldn't mind seeing Torres get more minutes this time, too.

Are you guys missing "gOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOch" leroy420? Why?

Anyway, what's this about some dude "Mexico called" then "United States called" crap? Pick a team and stick with them, and that will be it... WTH?

Anyway, Estados Unidos already is qualified. Is this a "save our best players" type of game?

Mexico set ourselves back with that silly game versus Jamaica  .

Good luck to all. You have no chance, Canada, unless you can beat both MEXICO and Honduras!

Gooch and most other starters were released since we've qualified. And I'm pretty sure Canada is out already.
