With yao looking like a scrub this year, last thing we need is for tracy to go down. i'm hoping adelman dosent over do it.

He's looked horrible even in the olympics. even the rockets coaching staff are worried. see adelmans comments.

He isnt the same player. will he get better? probaly. but will he be the dominate center he was two years ago?. most probaly never again. his leg has sufferd three breaks in three years. its not his fault, but thats just the way it is. look at mcgrady. same thing. injuries have slowed him down.its unfair to expect yao to be a 24 and 10 player again.

It doesn't matter even if he missed the whole preseason, which he's just willing to do. Only if he will be fully healthy when the season game starts.

He needs to test it out, no matter what. Even 5 minutes even if he is back in shape, he isn't in game shape yet.

Luckily, now that we have Tru Warrior, both Yao and McGrady will have less weight on their shoulders, reducing their minutes, pressure etc.

As Tracy said the biggest problemwill probably be in his head. It is tough to play after an injury because you are so concerned about it, you think about it every time you make a step forward.

But hopefully he will test it even tonight and everything will be fine,.
