Big difference... ea sports once again proved me right, they just can't make good sports games. Btw, it is a great idea to make the team. I would love to play and the player really doesn't matter. I have to wait, though. I will only get my 2k9 on Friday/Saturday...

Well my first attempt to get the game at Target today during lunch was a failure. I think they may have pulled a fast one on me, though. See, the games weren't placed in the display yet, but I saw them laying on the ground in halfway opened boxes behind the service counter. It was a mix of Live and 2k9 for both PS3 and 360 (and Live for Wii). I got as close as I could without looking like I was trying to steal something, and I swear I saw at least one copy of 2k9 for 360. So a guy finally asked if I needed help, and when I asked him about the games he said he wasn't sure if they were ready to be sold and so he called someone over. The guy that came over got down behind the counter and started shuffling through the boxes, and then told me that they had "sold out" of 2k9 for 360 and didn't have anymore copies at the store. I think he really might have been withholding one/some for him and his friends. If I were more desperate to get the game tonight, I would have confronted him, but I can wait.
I just looked on the back of 2k9 which I bought at lunch. There are four pictures. Two of them have Rockets in them. The first one is Lebron dunking on the whole team. The second is Yao getting swatted by Oden. We get no respect.
Hmmm... I bought mine at lunch as well but there are no Rockets on the back though. The PS3 version has chauncey trying to drive on chicago, vince carter with his hand in the air and kobe shooting against the spurs.
LOL, same thing happened to me at the Target on 646. I just ended up going to Circuit City. The guy saw me looking and knew right away I was looking for 2K9.
got mine, prolly gonna end up playing tomorrow night tho... two tests tonight+ studying= no 2k9. i wont miss the game after school tho, got it recorded
So I think I decided that buying both versions of the game might be kinda asinine. However, my PS3 ID (PSN) is Drex2234. I'll probably pick this up by the end of the week, but a bunch of s*** just hit the fan for me, so I'm not positive when I'll have time to play yet.
