Anyone that is more than a casual fan of basketball will love the depth of NBA 2K.

I have both games and 2K's gameplay has so much more depth and intrigue than Live. Live is for kids and arcade ballers............

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I think the 2K9 Demo blows. 09 graphics seem better too.

Then again, I hate basketball games cause it never feels like a real game.

Did you learn how to dribble? Throw oops?, use the shot stick? There is quite a learning curve, but once you get over that it is simply amazing.

Sometimes 2K is too complicated for many casual gamers though......

btw, Did you notice(In Live) how you could score with any player on the floor at any time with any shot?

I could literally drive straight to the basket and score every single time with Rajon Rondo.........

Thats why I don't like basketball games. Once you know how to do it, its easy to score.

I preordered 2K9 so I'm clearly biased. I downloaded both demos and Luve had the better demo until I got down to gameplay. Then it wasn't even a contest....

    Can't wait till Tuesday....

I downloaded live the other night and tried it out and was not impressed. I haven't played live since 06 on the first xbox so this was my first time trying it on a next gen console and I thought it was horrible. Still too arcadish and I didnt like how it prety much plays defense for you on live. So once again, I will be sticking to 2k9. Live may have better presentation, but it is only better than 2k until the game starts.

yao is a monster in 2k9. t-mac is still t-mac, tho his pull up jumper doesnt have high fg%. i still havent figure out a good way to use Artest's offensive skills.

i got both 2k9 and live 09. 2k9 is still better in gameplay. the players' faces are way better compare to 2k8's monster looking.

I belive 2k9 is a lot better. What is important, 2k9 has great comentators, I am sick of NBA live and Kerr etc... Btw, I had a great chance and I bought an xbox from my friend, I am so excited :D

No I will be able to play 2k9. I have just ordered it, I am gonna test it on Saturday, maybe Friday.

I got mine last week, hehe. =/

T-Mac is great, just like 2K8... I have his jumpshot down just like I know my social security... anyone who wants to challenge me let me know, tomorrow, I'm gonna hold off online until tomorrow just incase someone from 2K is checking to see if anyone got the game early.

If you buy NBA Live 09(I hope not), then give you a voucher that lets you get it for free.

They charge 20 dollars to people who bought the game used and want the feature.

So can you use Living Rosters during a Franchise/season? Or is this just for single games?
