Where did I contradict? Where did I lack logic? Where did I lack consistency? Please provide specific examples and exhibit a willingness to cite facts...for once.

HAHA...with reasoning like this I now understand how you can support someone like Palin.

For you, Max, no problem. I don't think that film represents the great majority of Christians, myself included, in this nation.

And then, I don't think some kids singing about Obama represent the vast majority of Obama supporters.

Bleh. Why do I bother trying to communicate with ROXRAN when he hits the jack-and-coke routine early on a Saturday?

So you don't think Obama kids just as Hitler youth singing for their leader is disturbing?

    Please...

Quite frankly, I'm disturbed by the exhibition...You want this in schools? You want this to be a requirement of children? It smacks of cult-ish behavior...

Sorry, but it is disturbing to me...The singing of praise, especially by children is delicate and I can't and don't feel comfortable with this. If you are comfortable with this, then where are the boundaries involving children?

    Serious question. B-Bob.!

This thread is extremely misleading and offensive in so many ways.

    1. I agree that children singing "praise" for Obama may be considered out of line. However, many posters have alredy suggested that this is an amateur politcal advertising video.

    2. Putting Barack Obama/Biden/McCain/Palin in any context with the word Hitler is outrageous.

    3. The douche who made the video on Youtube suggested that the melody and tone of the two different songs were not a coincidence. They are.

I am an elementary school teacher, and that melody is used in almost every song for students to better learn math and English concepts.

Let's take a break from the politcal smearing. Or at least, stop with the hyperbole.

    Agreed...

It is...I never made the comparison. Of course Obama has no connection to Hitler. Never said it. But the setting is indeed smiliar. Both involve the indoctrination of children (btw I frown on any kind/type of indoctrination such as beauty pagents of children, or other activities..)...The message of both is about the ideas each spreads (though different)

So the similarity is there, but I never said any connection...whatsoever. Got it everybody else!..Good.

And I would feel strong if little children were wearing Palin shirts singing "Drill, Baby Drill"!....

It would equally make me wanna climb the roof and jump. So again, my message is let kids be kids...Let them get up and be a player. Take them to Chuck E. Cheese.

Let them have life experience without the indoctrination. That is my point of the thread...AGAIN. Where are the boundaries involving children? Are there any?.

Just saying, you would have a much stronger case if you had shown the original lousy commercial by itself, minus the video of Hitler Youth rallies spliced in. The Godwin's law jump was a little early here.

You are right. I apologize. I should have found a version without the Hitler add in...I thought the Hitler addition would add to how this indoctrination style is revolting...It was not my intention to imply relation.

Oh hai Democrat Nazi comparison, did you know Palin draws inspiration from anti-semitic fascists that advocate Presidential assasination? It's true! Palin Quoted Anti-Semite In Convention Speech

Oh boy, I can feel the level of discourse rising already!

I wouldn't care if you were just talking about how wrong this is of the people who actually did it because I agree, this is creepy, but your point here is to paint this as an official part of the Obama campaign when it's not and now you take a step further here with this. I'm not scared of this and I know it won't happen in schools because it will not be a requirement because it has nothing to do with the Obama campaign.

BTW, are you going to be hiding in you end of the world bunker when Obama wins?

Color me not surprised that the OP would compare "Obama kids" with Hitler youth in the god-damned thread title and them claim later that he didn't make any comparison. Sounds like your typical shameless RR of the last eight years.

How do you know they are Yao only fans? Because one of them wears a Yao jersey? Because they lip-sing a backstreet boys song? Because they are chinese? Or just simply because you are dumb so you can't think of a better analogy?
