New Bet

Since George was too chicken to take the old one, here's a far more generous offer.

If Obama loses, I will stop posting in D&D for one year.

If Obama wins, George has to carry a signature for the same amount of time that reads, simply: God bless America.

Furthermore, he has to agree not to post anything for that year that would undermine our new commander-in-chief in his first year in office.

Finally, he has to get his baby brother bigtexxx to agree to the same terms.

Now, George has demanded that 15 liberals take a bet before he will. He is exactly chicken enough that he set what he believed to be terms that would never be met. Let's meet those terms. Who cares. We have nothing to lose and a tiny bit of fun to gain.

Sam Fisher and CBFC have already signed on to the old bet. Hopefully they'll sign on to this one too.

I'm one. Are there fourteen more?

Terms again:

15 liberals agree not to post in D&D for a year if Obama loses.

If Obama wins, George and little brother texxx carry sigs for a year reading "God Bless America" and say nothing in that year to undermine our new C-in-C.

One last caveat:

If George takes this bet (and I doubt he will - he's too chicken to take any bet, really), and then violates the terms of the agreement by unpatriotically dissing our new president after agreeing not to, he agrees to a 2 year ban from this forum. That seems fair.

I offer you 15 liberals taking a full year off and you are still too cowardly.

Just give up then. You have no convictions. You know your side is about to lose and deserves to. And you are, as always, full of it.

If you had any balls at all, you'd take this bet. You do not. So you won't.

 

I'm trying to debate you in the debate forum, C_G. And all you can do is say that if it's after midnight I must be drunk. I'm not. I could prove that with a breathalyzer. And you could prove you're not a legendary coward by taking the lopsided bet you asked for. But you are one, so you won't. Just like your party, you are out of ideas and out of arguments so you resort to old, worn out, discredited character attacks. Weak.

Also, 12:24 is hardly "late" for me. I work about 60 hours a week minimum, but I don't crunch numbers for a boss like you, George. I work for myself and I set my own hours. Most of my work days start around noon and end around 10pm. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later. It's up to me. I live in the great and free United States of America where, if someone has a good idea and a strong work ethic, he can forge his own path. I have done that. So I will often post late here.

Even though I have often whipped your sorry ass here while drunk, you ought not to assume I am doing that every time I post after midnight (LOL). If it's after midnight, I'm usually just getting off work.

 

I don't hate George. And I don't want him to leave the D&D. Hence the new bet. I'm offering to leave if I lose but I'm not asking him to if he does.

I am kind of bored with him calling me a drunk whenever he doesn't have a comeback to my posts (which is pretty much always), but whatever. I don't hate him. I think he's a kick.

And I want him to stay right here and take it like a good chicken when Obama wins. I don't expect him to take the bet (he'd never take any bet) even though the terms here are far more generous than the ones he demanded before.

I just thought it would be fun to be on record, offering these generous terms, offering to self-ban in return for a signature, offering 15 liberals to two twin brothers... But I never expected him to take it.

And I'd hate it if he ever stopped posting here.
