Big mistake on Ms Palin's part --

Palin's Attack On Obama's Patriotism Legitimizes Questions About The Palins' Association With Group Founded By America-Hating Secessionist

Sarah Palin attacked Obama's patriotism today over his association with former Weatherman Bill Ayers -- a move that makes it perfectly legitimate to raise questions about the Palins' associations with a group founded by an Alaska secessionist who once professed his "hatred for the American government" and cursed our "damn flag."

If Palin is going to say this, it is now perfectly legitimate to point out that she repeatedly courted a secessionist group founded by someone who openly professed hatred of the American government, cursed our flag, and wanted to secede from the Union. Sarah's husband, Todd Palin, was a member of this group, which continues to venerate that founder to this day, for years.

That only works for brown or black countries, no one ever invaded Norway or Texas.

I figured we'd put all the flying poo that comes from the McCain garbage dump of a campaign into this thread.

I don't think this will fly. first of all, Obama and Ayers didn't do much business, they just happened to be on the same board for an assoication with very noble goals. They were not friends. And they didn't associate much.

secondly, people are tired of this stuff. And it's too obvious that McCain is doing this as a desperation tactic when behind in the polls.

McCain's only way out of his hole now is for some sort of international major event, a terrorist attack, or anything else that can bump the economy off of voters minds.

With the record layoffs coming earlier this week....the economy is in a really sour state. I seriously doubt things will improve in the next 6 weeks.

Furthermore, I also think that no one out there in the world wants to save McCain except for Georgia and perhaps Israel. Maybe Saudi Arabia.

So with that....I doubt you'll see any new conflicts or major events. Al Qaeda isn't going to help McCain with a terrorist attack or video either this time.

So really hard to see how McCain can win. With the Palin implosion and the economy (and i think both have been reasons his lead has evaporated and Obama has his strongest foothold) - it's over.

Obama will be president. All Obama-Biden have to do is play nice, show they are smart, stay above the nastiness that we all know is coming from the mccain camp....and they have this in the bag.

History is about to be made. Obama will be president. I'm glad. He's not my first choice I had hoped for (Bloomberg would have been best obviously)...but I'll take it. At least Obama listens to guys like Buffet, Gates, Greenspan and others. That's better than ignoring them like the Republicans of late.

I call this election for Obama. President Obama. Has a nice ring to it.

Welcome back to reality. This call makes a lot more sense than when you "called the election" for McCain and said there was nothing that could happen in the last two months of the campaign to change the fact that he would win.

^I thought that abomination of a thread of Sweet Lou's was a reverse-jinx, a social experiment if you will, on his uncanny ability to influence the outcome of the universe through his callings on the American people.

Does this mean his jinx is de-reversed and now set to unleash fury on an unsuspecting Obama campaign?

Did you know that the Palin pals around with Pakistan PM Zardari, a known protector of Al Qaeda within it's borders. Zardari is big fan of hers. They are close enough to even hug, if it weren't for the cameras.

In the post 9/11 era, to call Bill Ayers a terrorist is a bit silly imo.

They did it for noble purposes. To sell weapons.

Obama, on the other hand, was trying to help poor people. Sickening!

Ayers did commit bombings. Attacking the Pentagon isn't exactly terrorism though. It's a military target.

But none of that matters because Obama doesn't really have significant connections to Ayers.
