I remember being worried when we gave up Dickerson for Francis in 99. Best of luck to him, funny how we still hold him as a Rocket to a degree.

Man...I loved this guy when he was in Vancouver. Bibby alley-oops to Dickerson were worth the price of admission!

To be fair, the Rockets got an absolute STEAL with Mobley in round two.

    Best of luck to MD.

It's good to see some of the young cats paying respect to some "old school" LOL players.

Wasn't it a chronic groin problem that made him retire? I thought I read that and it struck a nerve because I have ripped up connective tissue in my lower abs and groin and wondered how the hell someone could come back from that even with surgery.

Pretty much describes Dickerson even in college. Very comfortable being a role player but would have moments where he'd emerge big. I thought he looked a short 6-5. Cuttino's listed at 6-4 but they looked the same height to me. I think Dickerson is kinda why people wanted Richard Jefferson later on, similar role on an Arizona team as an athletic swingman & drafted in the mid 1st round.

Well, are we quite sure he didnt....? Not like they're gonna tell us

I wish him luck. It would be nice to see him have a decent healthy season to hang his career up on.

It's tough to break back into the league. Especially when you're over 30. I'm glad that he's physically good again.

It is good to hear that He will try to come back after injuries and years of not playing competitive basketball but making it to a team would be difficult. Ask Penny Hardaway.

Damn. I .... vaguely remember this guy :D

Hope it ends up working out for him. Definitely one of my favorite players from the pajama uni era.
