I read on SI that David Stern wants a complete file on all refs before 08-09 playoffs starts. He wants to know what refs have been talking to what players and teams. Well in fairness the "internal" means it was done by a former federal prosecuter and his law firm (in this case, Wachtell Lipton - basically the '72 Lakers of hardcore NYC firms). I've been on internal investigations before and I can safely say that your job is to leave no stone unturned when doing such, and the guys at Wachtell are animals. Remember the Mitchell Report from last year was the same type thing and it didn't pull too many punches.
