I got 83 out of 195 in the first link.

And 64 on the second link.

I swear I could have gotten about 10 more on that first game if I could spell some of those countries.

 

grr i had 115 when i had to answer the phone with 5 minutes left

anyway, that "nations of the world" song from animaniacs really helps!

I haven't seen this in fourteen years; good find.

 

I think I'd do marginally decent with parts of Europe, Middle East, some of the Americas and Asia; but I'm almost too embarrassed to even try this. I think I want to buy a pocket atlas now, and get a world map desktop background image for both the home and work computers.

Okay, I guess I originally thought I was going to have to name and locate all the countries. Just naming them I got a 117 out of 195. I spent so much time trying to remember random African and former Soviet states that I forgot semi-obvious ones like Switzerland, Hungary, Thailand or Cambodia, and I couldn't spell Philippines after three tries. Couldn't get Greenland to come up, but I got to learn that it's a province of Denmark. This has the potential to be a very addictive quiz, assuming a reasonable attention span.

 

122 on the first link . Some of the eastern European countries are really hard to spell.

 

149 on my first try, I was blanking on West Africa and Oceania. Would also help if I could spell correctly.

Man if I did this in 7th grade I think I couldve gotten all of them. Gogo Geography Bee.

I literally spent a minute trying to spell Azerbaijan and another minute trying to think of Taiwan

 

I got 113. I could have had many more if not for spelling.

 

92 of 195. It helps if you've been watching as many World Cup of Footballs like I have. I just think about whom Mexico has played against and who were in groups together in the last few cups.

WTF, when you say "Republic of" and it spells "Rep of"... you still get it right. Plus, those damn African countries... and they don't have the smaller countries in the small islands of the Caribbean...

Good stuff. I noticed that most of you dudes (and dudettes) who get more countries will not make mistakes in grammar and spelling. Thank you for that.

I can't believe Great Britian is NOT a country. Wierd.
