I realize most of you are anti-McCain, and more importantly anti-Palin and will say stuff I may think it is inappropriate. But, I think they both did a good job in the debate and think it was fairly even and won't really change a thing in the election.

That could've been Mitt Romney or Tim Pawlenty up there, and this thing would've been a contest. Good thing McCain chose this hick.
Gwen Ifill is a professional and I give her props for how she did her job given this week's attacks on her character.
You know...as a father...I kind of take issue with Palin bringing her infant son to every national campaign event...that baby should be at home sleeping in his crib...but it just comes off to me like she's using him for political points. Maybe she is, maybe she isn't...but, personally, I would want my son in bed, not passing him around on stage in front of millions of people.
Palin didn't poop in her skirt, though there were a few instances where she looked like she might. For that reason alone, Republicans are gonna do the whole TV and blog parade celebrating her debate "success." Palin did enough to give her party's spinsters room to operate.
I shall have to watch the other portion of the debate in it's entirety, but the last 10 mins and the first 35 were enough for me to basically nod and say "Yep, I was right about Palin", lol. I just hate the way she talks, it's absolutely infuriating on top of not being qualified. The soccer mom thing is OLD, Alaska being a worthwhile state that qualifies you to do anything is OLD, John McCain as a "maverick" is old. SHUT UP.
