Which Rocket team did you enjoy more? 94-95 rockets or 93-94?

I agree. Ugly is Knicks versus Spurs. The series versus the Rockets just pitted two very evenly matched teams, with nearly the exact same style of play against each other. And both teams were playing to their best almost the whole time (except for the Knicks in Game 7, where Starks folded). That closeness may have made it seem ugly for all non Houston fans, sicne we won, but I thought it was great. Plus, that was Hakeem's year for sure. He won the MVP and of his three MVP caliber seasons (I think he could have won it the year before or year after), it was his best. That block against Strickland in the first round was just sweet (that was thay year right?).

Couldn't agree more, haven...the playoffs in 95 were just ridiculously good. I remember my father saying the morning after they won the championship that he had kind of a sense of sadness because he felt he'd never see anything that remarkable again in the world of pro sports. I agree. But the way the 93/4 season started out with the 15 consecutive games was remarkable (particularly when coupled with the fact that the Oilers went undefeated for a month too, marking the first time two franchises in the same town went an entire month without a loss!). They won some games with the most remarkable of plays that year in the last seconds...particularly at the hands of a man named Vernon Maxwell!!

 

As much as I loved OT and Scottie Brooks - give me Clyde and Chucky Brown baby. 94-95 was the best.

 

I enjoyed the 85-86 team better than both of those teams combined.

seriously though, who cares, I loved them both. However, a question of who would win if they played each other is kinda interesting. Especially, if you take both teams in their peak.
