You guys dont know fasting til u live in an Indian home fried crap galore, seriously those meals at the end of the day are just so satisfactory and bad for you
haha I used to have the same problem, but instead I told my mom to bake stuff more and I started to eat in lesser proportions and thus I lost 6 pounds woo!
I don't know if your being sarcastic, but in case you are not then you should know Hakeem used to play full games while he was fasting. (I don't remember too many games, but I do remember he did have one helluva game while he was fasting.)
Eid Mubarak to all of you (esp you omair- saw ur brother today, lookin sharp). Reliant Center was packed. The Starbucks in there got MOBBED afterwards haha. Ramadan was good this year. Once again, I was fortunate enough to not have to miss any fasts (altho twice I missed breakfast before sunup ) It was an especially enriching experience this year with Ike coming through and dealing with that while fasting. Of course, I am reminded of Hakeem very much so during this time period, thinking of him running the floor at the Summit while fasting is just such an inspiring and strengthening image. Lets hope next year they can come to some sort of consensus in Houston as to which day Eid is (altho im almost positive that day will never come... )
i never realized how much makeup muslim women put on till today. complex carbs in the morning last me for the msot part, i actually gained one pound but i lifted all during the month.
Eid Mubarak from dusty Riyadh! Ramadan, for me too, was excellent this year. I tried to be good, and for the first time was able to complete the entire Quran during the month. Extremely proud of me. The atmosphere is great, too. Working hours from 10-3, nightlife till Suhoor, can't beat it. Although, I do miss the coziness of ADAMS Center in VA
from Jakarta Indonesia, I would like to say IED MUBARAK!!! *back to sleep after eating a whole bunch of KETUPAT and GREEN CURRY DUCK slurrppp
