January 26, 2007, vs. Portland. Ended up being a blowout. My first ever Rockets game, and since then the last one I have gone to. Seats were Section 101 Row B. Pretty good seats, though was on the opposing team's tunnel, none the less they were still good.

Feb 17, 1997 - Hawks at Rockets. 5th Row center court (Microsoft seats).

It was a rout - 127-98. It got so bad, that Priest Lauderdale entered the game - all 350 lbs of him.

Game 1 of the playoffs last year, my friend's dad got us some tickets. It was a fun night but could have been better if we won.

It was back in '97-98. I saw two games that year. This was still when every game was selling out, but we managed to get tickets to see the Rockets beat the Warriors convincingly and make a comeback win against the 11-win Denver Nuggets.

Game 2 of the 1994 conference semi-finals when the Rockets blew a 20pt lead at the start of the 4th quarter and lost in overtime against the Suns.

First year championship season, 1993-1994, some regular season game. A friend of a friend had 2 of Kenny Smith's family tickets, somewhere about 10-12 rows up, lower bowl, off center on the Rockets side of the court. It was nice. After that game, I was HOOKED!

I don't remember the first one but I do remember seeing Bill Walton and the Trail Blazers in a mostly empty Hofheinz Pavilion.

I can't recall the date, but the Rockets played the Lakers, back when they still had Kobe, Shaq, and Glen Rice. We beat them by like 7 points thanks to Cuttino Mobley's clutch shooting.

    1975 vs. the spurs.

Don't remember much except that it was the first year The Summit opened and my Dad had season tickets. I was only 5, so I spent most of the time looking at the skywalk on the ceiling instead of the game, but I do remember admiring Calvin Murphy's fro.

I also remember my Dad almost kicking some guy's ass for smoking in the 'non-smoking' section. Yes, you could smoke at games back then. Except for section 102, which was the non-smoking section.

My Dad had the same tickets for the next 20 years. Section 102, Row E, Seats 1 and 2. :)

1974-75 season when they played at Hofheinz Pavilion and it was against the New Orleans Jazz.

Sometime around 78-79 season... I don't remember which team I saw them play first. I went to several games around that time. I had recently moved to Houston and was pretty pumped to see an actual NBA game (I was 8 or 9 at the time).

Can anyone chronologically list the Houston Rockets ownerships and the dates they covered?

I think my first one was in '98.

The last one I remember, and my only trip to the TC was against the bulls. It was seriously one of the most boring games I had ever been to. The place was silent, the players were sucking it up (Yao was injured IIRC).

    Rockets 95, Warriors 108

The 28-54 record Rockets went to beat the 20-61 record Warriors 3-1 that season. My first Rockets experience just so happened to be the one game that they lost against them.
