I am watching the third episode of this show right now. Is anyone else watching it? I am actually liking it, sort of dark, but has a sarcastic humor that helps keep it from being depressing. Plus Jax is hot. Katey Segal is in it, but she's the only actor that I recognized right off.
I just watched the 3 eps on HULU and now I'm on board. It's weird, but I didn't recognize the guy who played Jax at first until I finally saw the opening credits and I realized it was Charlie Hunan from Undeclared, who's british. Before I knew it was him I didn't really listen to his accent and now that I know it's him I hear him not always hitting the right pronunciations.
I was thinking that he kinda looked like Heath Ledger, which I really used to think when Undeclared was on. I can't believe I hadn't IMDB'd him.
Yeah I thought the same thing too.. they have the same smile and wide eyes. Similar jaw lines. I was sort of grossed out with the "axe scene" but the rest has been tolerable violence. I watched the first three on hulu as well, it's now on my list of "series" to record on the dvr.
YES that is a very good show, but i hate having to wait a week to see what happens next. I wish it was one of those shows that has been out for a few years and your friends tell you about it, so you watch one episode get hooked and then you go and buy all the seasons and watch them then.
You can thank Tivo for that. Ron Perlman is not too convincing to me and looks funny in sunglasses. Peg Bundy is pretty rough looking but definately has this scary kind of sex appeal about her. Good show so far.
Yep, I have every family guy on my Tivo DVR. Saved me money on the seven season dvd's at 30-40 a pop.
Nice Alice Cooper blast at the end of the show. (waiting to watch Sunny and just caught that) Any show that plays the Coop I might have to start watching. What's the show about anyway?
