yeah i thought that was a bit much for Ari to go in and slap Davies seeing how he did something (or at least thought so) similar in giving Davies pictures of his ex-gf. oh but Lloyd was gold last night. as for vince its just how low he has become and how much he is going to have to work to get back to where he was. I dont mind it too much him having to do that since how its the first time vince is having to struggle through everything
To be honest, sunday's episode leaves the show at a fork in the road. It could develop into something as good as the first couple of seasons if they play their cards right or it could blow up big time. Unfortunately, I think it's the latter with me forcasting: Spoiler Eric's screenplay doing it real big with Edward Norton and it becomes such a huge hit that it will somehow cripple E's relationship with Vincent because this was exactly the movie they needed to rebound back. As for Ari jumping the shark or not, remember this is the same guy that 1. walked into one of the head studio exec's office and waited for him while he finished showering 2. drove to the headmaster's house and begged and cried and pleaded for his son to be admitted into that private school 3. going onto the set where he wife was filming a scene for a soap opera and pretty much taking over the whole place 4. firing his two twin assistants in mid break down If he jumped the shark, this was the way to go out because that was, quite possibly, one of the best moments in tv I've watched in a long time.
My favorite line was when the money man told Drama... after he hypothesized that he was unlucky in love because of his past financial troubles (filing Chapter 11 three times)... that "maybe its because you're ****ing ugly" the timing and the tone of that quote may make it one of the funniest sitcom lines I've ever seen in my life... it was just so succinct and on point... anyone else notice that this season all of the characters have more edge to them - especially in the way they insult each other... in the past it was always good-natured ribbing between the guys - just like we all do with our buddies... but this year the ribbing has moved to flat out personal attacks... especially from ari to eric (justifiable b/c of how vince's career tanked) but even more so from everyone onto Turtle and Drama... it's like they're slowly realizing just how "low on the totem pole" of the "entourage" they really are with the harsh words this year... which aren't delivered with the same "wink wink nudge nudge" as in season's passed... I wonder if this is being done purposefully to build to a rift in the Entourage by season's end...
Oh why thank you for enlightening me and telling me my opinion about my belief of the show is wrong. How kind of you. By the way the same POS show was nominated as best comedy by the Emmys for season 4. So stop trying to shove your opinion down other people's throat and just accept that there are people out there that love the show. Also, damn right it's about partying and hot chicks in every episode. As far as I can tell that's what the first 3 seasons were about also (since so many people seemed to love those), but no one seemed to be complaining about it then. I guess it got old in 4 years, but 3 years was fine... Don't expect a thought provoking drama out of Entourage, and hey... you just might like it again. And even if you don't, it's all good. We can all have different opinions.
Chill out man, I don't think he was trying to shove his opinion down or anything like that. He was just echoing the sentiments of a few people on here and around the country. Sure there are others like yourself that feel the show hasn't lost a beat and that is fine and dandy. It's all good. Anyway, I thought sunday's episode was the best of the season so far and I loved the Ari and Davies competition. Who else was loving the appearance of "The Nanny"? ..... Anyone, anyone, Just me I guess.
I thought Sunday's episode was the best I've seen in a while. Vintage Ari Gold, b**** slapping Adam Davies and the male strippers when T.I. was at the office were hilarious.
I too liked the last episode mainly because Shauna is back. She is like the female Ari. The scene where they're in Shauna's office is classic. Drama: lets make it a 2fer Shauna, this way the Chase brothers can wipe em out clean. Shauna: Stick to chili festivals Drama Drama: WTF Does that mean? Shauna: It means you're far from a sweet 16ers wet dream! Drama: I'll be outside fellas Shauna: Whats he so sensitive about? Turtle: He's goin through a rough breakup Shauna: Someone went out with him? LOL !
Ari's a true pimp. Ari's got his wife buying him an expensive ride and in return he's running around delivering the pimp hand to those who diss her.
It was a great moment. Agree that the show is wobbling a bit, but this last episode gave me hope. Ari rules!
tonight's episode was pretty good. certainly moved the story line along. i really like carla gugino's role of amanda.
God, I want to crawl into Carla Gugino's cleavage and build a nest. I wonder if Ed Norton will "re-write" smoke jumpers like he did with the Hulk.
We certainly saw the story of E having a conflict of interest with Vince on this script. I like where this is going, and the thing with Drama gets worse and worse.
It will be interesting to see where E goes with this script issue. if he accepted the 1mill against 2 and Norton he obviously screws Vince and in turn Drama and Turtle will be mad at him. (and of course Ari but Ari hates him anyway) He does get his clients the best deal possible and screws Ari over showing him that he can negotiate and get a good deal for his clients. If he doesn't he helps out Vince big time, Ari has one on him and if his clients ever find out (which they probably will) the offer that was on the table they'll be furious and he will lose any credibility he may have had as an agent. I am guessing he is going to accept the money
