Right now I agree. Portland plays really good basketball and what is godd is they are healthly. They will get Oden this year and Brandon Roy's gonna be better. They also have rodriguez who looks nice. And they can play defense...I'd take Portland all the way over Nuggets.
That's right guys they're idiots for being optimistic about their team. They shouldn't even try, just accept they aren't going to make the playoffs and shut up.
You know my nickname for Nene: The Pillsbury Dough Boy. Softer than soft can be. Seriously, the guy just isn't dedicated to basketball. Simple as that. He ain't gonna get better.
I remember when AI first joined the Nuggets he and Melo had an interview with someone(I'm thinking Stephen A.), AI said he can't see them losing a 7 game series to anyone(they have 1 playoff win together). Now Carmelo is talking about 60 wins. Nobody out west had 60 wins last year. And most teams got better. The only team that got worse is Nuggets. Go figure
If the Nuggets are gonna win 60 games with that team, the NBA is gonna be in trouble. Nevertheless, I don't see them winning more than 48 games.
i think they can still win 50 if kmart and nene can stay healthy because i dont think the west is going to be as tough as it was last year. they lost camby, but they kept JR Smith who is really starting to develop along with linas kleiza.
my thoughts exactly. 60 games? what did they do this summer to get 10 wins better? give camby away? looks more like low 40's and a low lotto pick.
Camby has nothing to do with wins and losses. He was a joke on the offensive end and not much of a man-to-man defender. He was good for rebounding and outlet passes, but if Denver ever wants to be considered a serious threat they are going to have to learn how to survive in a half court offense.
