Cowboys losing always makes me feel a little bit better. Thanks, Campbell for putting me over the top in my fantasy team.

    how's this for a stat...

assuming a philly win tonight (ugh)

    ny is 3-0
dallas, wash, and philly would all be 3-1. each of their losses came from teams within the division.

straight up ass whooping. boyz should be embarrassed per that effort. they played poorly most of the game. rushing game was a joke. i said at half...dallas needed to play more 2 minute offense in the 2nd half to keep washington's defense in react mode. didn't really do that until it was too late. their D was able to set up no problem and their secondary beat our receivers hands down most of the game. romo also had another dumb INT...one every game so far. our secondary still doesn't have an INT in four games. i think we have two takeaways from fumbles this season.

this game came down to the line of scrimmage. the cowboys didn't control it on either side of the ball for most plays. we couldn't run it. they had a pass rush and great pass coverage. boyz got humbled today.

it's one thing to not be able to run. it's another thing to have only 11 rushes for the game, not to mention something like only 2 attempts the entire second half.

another costly turnover by romo, special teams was terrible, and still 0 interceptions for our secondary on the season.

Yeah they should be so embarrassed. That in playing a bad game they only lost by 2.

Not that it means anything at this point in the season, I still think the Cowboys are the best team in the NFC and will finish with the best record. When the playoffs start, we'll see what happens.

it wasn't that close until late. it's embarrassing for a home game performance...and this after we got absolutely pulverized at their place last game of last season. redskins get the credit. they have our number lately.

The loss really doensn't bother me trhat much. They are still the best team in football, and I'd rather see them get some bumps in the road out of the way early and be ready for the playoffs, unlike last yr when they dominated early.

It's time to be incredibly mature about this.

How are they the best team? They just lost at home to a team with the same record (now), and the game wasn't that close.

It's nice to be in the District after the game and have all theses cars honking like crazy because of a Skins win (and not because most of these drivers are crazy idiots who are full of themselves :) ).

Did anybody see that interview of TO's? It was sort of like he was throwing Romo under the bus, sort of. Luckily they have the 0-4 Bengals next but hey, the Bengals are due for a win.

T.O. had 30% of the plays go his way. He should just keep his mouth shut. Also, Springs was on him most of the game like flies on a corpse. Over half of the pass plays going T.O.'s way were incomplete. So, I fail to see his argument in this particular case that you get him the ball more and the chains move. How much more can we get him the ball? Romo was trying to force the issue and it got us nowhere...except 3 and out alot of times. As soon as Romo starts trying to keep T.O. happy in the passing game while not taking advantage of who is open, that is when we get in trouble.

In the end, this is just another loss to a rival. It's unrealistic to expect any team in our division to win all the games with their rivals. It just so happens we have three very good rivals this season in Philly, Washington, and NY. These games can go either way regardless of where they are played.

The thing is...we have such a tough division that one would expect two of these four teams to go the playoffs...meaning that two good teams in our division won't make it. It's way too early to tell who that will be. It's a very real possibility the Cowboys could be a casualty. That is why these rivalry games are so important. They might as well be playoff games...because if you lose enough of them...you could be toast anyway.

Washington has played us really tough the last two seasons. They know us very well...just as we know them very well. Washington's real test is not how they do against us...it's how they do against inferior teams. They can get up for big rival games...but they have been susceptible to being beat by teams they should beat. Their consistency has been a problem. We will see if they can be consistent enough to win the games they are supposed to win.

This is pretty exciting though knowing that all four teams in our division this year are on their game apparently. Usually, one or two of them are having off seasons. We will just have to see how this plays out.

T.O. said something like, he was running the plays, running his routes, but the ball isn't coming to him or was nowhere close to him when it was. To me, that seems like he was saying Romo wasn't looking for him or not getting the ball to him when he did.

If the Bengals come in and get an upset over the Cowboys next week, it could get very interesting.
