I'm an out-of-towner and have yet to be able to convince my wife to let me sell one of my children so I can afford the NBA package. Last year I was thrilled that several of you provided live streaming links to the games so I was able to watch the Rockets games on my laptop.

I was wondering if those streaming links will be available again this year - it made life livable for an out of town Rockets fan! :D

Again, it was fantastic and I thank those of you that did such a great job of providing and (continuously) refreshing the links.

    Thanks again.

The only LEGAL thing will be NBA League Pass Broadband. Also, you can try Rockets2k's upload on torrents right after the games are over.

I know there are many sites you can watch live streaming NBA games but I'm not sure if I can post them here.
So if you need the links maybe you can email me.

It would be great if someone can share their league pass with others.
I used to have NBALP and watched a lot of games online with NBALP BroadBand too, not so sure I will get it this year.
I think you have to register NBALP BroadBand on NBA.com so you have to be a member on NBA.com first. Then you will need to put in your cable provider and also your account number. After that it's all set. You just have to log in and click on Watch Live when the games are on.
So I guess what we need to share here is just your NBA.com logins.
Hopefully no one will mess with your fantasy teams~!~ :p

I wish I had saved the article, but I am pretty sure there was an article on the Sports Business Journal's website talking about live streaming of NBA games this season. If I recall, the individual team can choose to do so if they please, but must bide by any contractual obligations with regional sports networks.

I will try and look for it again.

I hope League Pass would wise up and provide broadband access as a seperate package like MLB broadband.

Found it, but I am no longer registered. Sometimes you can view a page or two before the registration info comes up. I guess on the archive search you don't get that option. However, I already viewed one page of the current issue so maybe I used my one free view.

The NBA is poised to become the first major U.S. sports league to stream live games in local markets, an aggressive offering that will set up a showdown between cable operators and regional sports networks. The move marks the latest evolution in digital rights and adds fuel to one of the most …"

umm, R2K puts in a lot of work to filter the game file, remove commercials, halftime, and compress the file. It's not available "right after the games are over." Dude does a LOT of work preparing the games for torrent release.

I posted something in the Clutch Classified section about splitting a league pass with people. Feel free to reply to that thread.
