I swear I'm going to make a website of Walton quotes. Here's some of his classics from last night...

After Cato pulls down a rebound - "Now that's why the Rockets are paying him $7 million over 7 years."

After Cato pulls down a rebound then throws an outlet pass - "Shades of Hakeem Olajuwon. What an outlet!"

Then, when his sarcasm was becoming a little tired he started messing with Collier and Langhi. "It's almost like Bird and Parrish"

and now for my personal favorite...

"That was arguably the worst inbounds pass in the history of the Los Angeles Clippers Franchise"

    Oh Bill, you're too much!

There were several more, but too many to remember. He's the only announcer I've seen on League Pass who even comes close to being as entertaining as Bill and Calvin.

    Not to mention the ..

"Look at Jason Collier, he is unstoppable"

I was laughing my butt off at him.

Walton's always been entertaining on the Clippers broadcasts (moreso than on NBC).

At one point he compared Collier and Langhi being in the game together to the heyday of Olajuwon and Thorpe. A few minutes later he said that the only way to tell Olajuwon and Collier apart is that Collier is left handed.

Bill Walton's sarchasim last night was nothing short of annoying and completely off the wall. Was he stoned last night, because he sure as hell sounded like it. If I want comedy, I will turn on Seinfeld for the love of God. Just give me one intelligent, observant comment instead of all this sarcastic bullsh!t. I guess the only gig in the NBA he could get was the Clips..... nice work!

Walton was damn funny last night. When Collier was going crazy on the boards, Walton was calling him one of the league's best rebounders. His partner was like, "Let me check the stats on that one."

Also, one time Stevie drove the lane and threw it out to Langhi on the perimeter who absolutely bricked a shot. Walton was like, "Not exactly kicking out to Pippen or Bird there."

    I love Walton.

My roommate and I have borrowed one of Bill's comments from an NBC game: whenever someone shoots an airball in an NBA game, one of us might drawl (slowly, stupidly, i.e., Walton-ish), "Ouch, watch your face." Believe me, coming from Walton, it was funny.

I awayz can't wait to hear what's going to come out of Walton's mouth. I know half of what he says is so far off the wall, but it's entertaining and funny.:)

My favorite was, "Seeing Jason Collier and Dan Langhi reminds me of the Hakeem Olajuwon and Otis Thorpe years."
His counterpart, "And what about them reminds you of those two?"
Bill: "Oh, I don't know. I guess the way they play and wear those Rockets uniforms..."

    Good stuff. :D

Can't believe he made it through the game without one of his world famous "Jabaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar" suck up moments. I like Walton though, he's not for everyone I know, but I dig his humor most of the time.
