im not worried about any of that! We have a team that will inspire confidence in the other players thus eliminating any kind of team friction. We have enough talented players to be able to rotate entire line-ups thus decreasing the possibility for injury. Now refereeing is always a problem for the rockets. Dike seems to get a loose ball foul even though he is sitting on the bench! Dorsey and Artest will pick up a lot of technical fouls (and maybe francis), but with people like yao, barry, batier and scola are mature enough to keep our team from losing composure. Coaching not a problem. We will struggle from the line (like always despite yao), but we will be such a defensively minded team that we should be able to shut down teams so that free throws won't be a deciding factor. The only thing i'm worried about is that i live in San Antonio and I may not be able to watch all the games of our championship season.
Rafer rarely (if not never) pulls up for a jumper in transition. his handles allows him to penatrate into the paint at will (to be able to finish at the rim is another thing, tho ) back to the topic: what bothers me the most is some of the players' inability to shoot free throws. Foul shots are called FREE throws for a reason: they are essentially free points if you simply practice hard on your own. You dont need natural talent nor do you need any athleticism to make free throws. Yet we have to endure the suffering of watching PROFESSIONAL players (who get paid 50x the salary of an average american) missing free throws at an unacceptable rate (my standard would be <75%)
