When is Media Day?

    I'm jonesin' hard for some Rockets coverage and I know that Media Day usually takes place around the last week of September, but I didn't know if maybe Ike had affected things. Does anyone know for certain when Media Day is scheduled to take place?

    It'll be Monday, September 29th.

    Technically, I'm a member since '96, but I digress. I had about 100 or so posts disappear from my post count as a result of the BBS crash that occurred several months ago, but yeah, I don't post too often.

    According to Chron.com, the players are to report to their teams on Sept. 29th and to have training camp open on the 30th...

    So, I would expect Media Day to be on the 29th.

    be nice guys.

    Eric, media day is when all the players and coaches get together for press interviews and photo ops.

    Just a way to get stories out there at the beginning of the season and hype the Rockets.

    Clutch was at last year's (and I would guess will be at this years) so we get some scoop from him as well as all the other media outlets.

    Man. I cant wait till media day. I wanna see Yao,Ron,Tracy together taking flikaz. Hopefully, Landry will be there.

    i know what media day is, i just dont know exactly what goes on there. who cares. at least i'm not afraid of asking. I most likely know more about the rockets and basketball in general than you do....so just shut up. thanks.

    dunno if it was addressed in a different thread but will Clutch and Jeff be at Media day today?

    I am sure Hilltopper maybe able to provide some videos but last year there was some great stuff and pictures from Jeff

    I thought media day was today? I could have sworn I saw something about it today... Maybe I'm just going crazy. Anyways, I can't wait until the pictures come out from training camp.

    I think it's in Houston. Training Camp was held in Austin last year, not Media Day. Could be wrong though....
